Sadly it seems I have to put this up yet again. Any of the following types of posts will be met with immediate bans:

Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining/Off topic arguing.

Stick to the games and enjoy the event and its free services and coverage.

I am happy with these results. Would've been more impressive if it was vs Bomber but I dont know how Huk would have fared against him.
I asked my friend how the ratio at a party was, he replied. "Let's just say for every guy there was two dudes."

Fuck yeah HuK! Big congrats :D

Kinda disappointing that Moon went for the 6 pool though. 7 pool would've been better ^^.

KOREANS OWN WUT DUDES?????

I believe this was "Huk #1 luck" as Moon should've easily won (no hatch cancel or no scout first).

BS, with no hatch cancel the build would've looked funny for a one base, and Huk would have checked before over-reacting. He did get lucky on the spawn positions, but that was the nature of the build. You can still hold a 6 pool even with a late scout, it is just alot harder. Moon attempted cheesy, all in, luck based strategies, and was punished for it.

Nope, he instantly put down 3 cannons, and since he couldn't scout any longer he would proceed to lay down 5-6 more and be as dead as one can be.

For everyone going on about how lucky Huk was, six pool on a four player map is a coinflip build. If you get scouted last you have a pretty good chance of a free win, which is what Moon wanted. Blame Moon for not wanting to play a macro game and rolling the dice, not Huk for being lucky with scouting and holding it.

They're mostly talking about G4 I believe.

The line to get a seat was huge, just as it was last year. They could fill a bigger place for sure.

They should get the hockey arena for the winter event.

Summer ASSEMBLY is going to be in a hockey arena Aug4-7th.

Not sure if we can top dreamhack but should be a great event (Hmm, RET won winter assembly, now Huk wins summer dreamhack - team liquid might want to send as many players as possible to these nordic events!!)

moon giving himself 66 % chance of getting super ahead/winning the game outright in game 5. it didn't fall his way, but he took his odds.

game 4 was just painful to watch, not because they played badly (they played to what they knew). oh well, ggs from both moon and huk.

moon had the hardest route and made it to the finals, beating players like naniwa white-ra and bomber (AMAZING) and almost getting first place.

Huk did not prove that foreigners are good at this game. He proved that foreigners can get good through korean training. How are so many people blinded by that fact?

A vocal minority argues that foreigners cannot be as good as koreans, ever. Even with korean training. Therefore this proves them wrong.

I've never heard anyone say that. That's just plain racist. Everyone knows koreans are not genetically gifted at this game (except for flash). The korean training is what makes you good. Too many people have a false sense of national pride to understand that. Huk won, congrats to him. What he did didn't prove that foreigners > koreans, in fact he proved the opposite. That korean training really pushes you to the next level.

some guy was posting a statistic on how koreans have higher IQ earlier in the day...caused a massive argument.
