Sadly after all this time with so many tournament threads it still is not clear to many users on this site. There are several types of posts that are not acceptable in tournament threads. Any form of:

Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining

Will result in two day to a week long bans even for first offenses. Please stick to the games at hand and enjoy yourselves with a beautiful event such as this and the free service that comes with it.

Anyone find it interesting....

Last Code S : HuK knocked into Up and Down by InCa (no.2 PvP in the world after MC, and eventual finalist) and July (close game with a legend).

Up and Down he has 1 chance vs either MMA or MKP, and beats MMA (one of the few people that has beaten MMA in a Bo1/Bo3 in the last 2 months...).

Then he gets Polt (eventual finalist) in the R32 of Super Tournament who has the best vP in the world.

So many haters don't realise how unlucky HuK is. He could easily advance in any of those scenarios if he wasn't matched with the eventual finalists or gosus, and even then he had a good chance to beat Polt and July in those 2 matches.

Gogogo HuK fighting. My tip for Dreamhack :D

A nice post but still somewhat inaccurate. Sure he had InCa and July in his groups, but that's based on the GSL Code S selection process, not random draw. HuK had very little say in how his group would shape up, and obviously would shape up in a way that didn't benefit him (if it benefitted him, the previous players would not have selected that way)

Sure he lost to Polt in ST, but most players in RO32 are pretty good. You could also argue that he was lucky in getting the worst PvP player (San) in R1 and avoiding PvP (his worst matchup) in R2. Or that he didn't run into Nestea/MC/etc. etc.

HuK is good, but he's where he belongs, low Code S material.

Huk also had an extremely easy draw to get into Code S in the first place. Not saying Huk doesn't deserve Code S or commenting either way but he's had plenty of favourable luck too.

Also in Code S you will always play very good players, because it's full of very good players.

ST Curious and TSL Revival aren't easy. I'm not sure if you've followed the Korean scene recently but both of those players have done quite well in the last few weeks (Revival in Super Tournament, Curious in the ICCUP weekly)

Given that guys like Losira, Supernova, MMA, Ganzi, Alive and Alicia were floating around Code A I don't think a bad draw at all. He also played Choya in his up and down game, Choya being poor in general and poor in PvP.

Lol he's still a foreigner...

If you live with Koreans, train with Koreans, and use the builds of Koreans why would you be considered a foreigner? The difference between Koreans and foreigners is their approach to Starcraft 2, not their race. Huk is pretty much a Korean.

Huk is not korean, period.

Jinro, Sjow and Morrow are slumping a bit nowadays. Good thing Naniwa, Sase and Thorzain are awesome.

Sjow is slowly but surely getting more and more behind the curve, it's sad to see really since he's got some skills and can keep competing at a high level, but his inability or unwillingness to improve his mechanics and his total lack of spark in unorthodox situations will put him in the "could've been" category as time goes on.

Ro16 split seems to be:

8 Protoss
5 Zerg
3 Terran

Could be 7 toss and 4 terran if Hasu loses and Tzain wins 2 - 0, but that's looking unlikely right now

Koreans have gone:

10 - 2
8 - 3
10 - 3
10 - 3

38 - 11 (77.5%)

In series they've gone 19 - 1, so imbaaaaaaaaaaaaaa lol :D Korea fightin'!

Well you could put Bomber, MC and July into an event with 48 koreans and the same tournament structures and their results would probably still look similar. Moon is the only one that sticks out.

This is so stupid, I can't even believe it.

I feel like a Protoss will take this tournament. So many good Protoss players left.

Then IdrA is even more Korean then other Foreigners will ever be.
