Polt is a better player than MMA. There is a reason why Polt is 2nd in Korea in ELO, has the a +30 wins margin in the past few months and actually in Code S. MMA is a great player, but I think he was built up too much from his MLG Columbus victory. I think the better player won.

Thanks for the amazing GSL Finals. Even though it was 4:0, i enjoyed the fact that Polt, the underdog, won the finals and imo game 2, 3 and 4 were pretty good.

See Bisu, see Jaedong, see pretty much every successful player in BW. B) People want epic games. MMA choked and Polt didn't. Doesn't take anything away from Polt but it's not exactly exciting. A.) Polt just graduated from one of the top 50 colleges in the world. B.) Blame MMA for doing repetitive builds and not putting up a good fight against Polt.

Polt just graduated from the best university in Korea, stepped up his game and won the super tournament. Isn't that enough of a story for you?

Dear GOMTV.net users, eSports fans, and avid gamers: GOMTV would like to extend our invitation to everyone who loves playing StarCraft 2. There are no restrictions on participating in our preliminaries for Code A and players who have won major tournaments will win Code A seeds (contact us!). Next round of preliminaries is scheduled to be held at June 19th (the date might change so we recommend checking our website later for the exact date) and you just need to be in South Korea and bring your A game to the venue for the preliminaries! We will be taking applications starting from June 6th to June 13th midnight. You must use your own Battle.net account (cannot use your family's or friends' account). Match Format: Bo3 Map Pool: 1set - GSL Xel'Naga Caverns, 2set - GSL Metalopolis, 3set - GSL Lost Temple These GSL versions have been modified so players will not be placed right next to each other. If you have any questions please feel free to contact gsl@gomtv.com Thank you and good luck! GOMTV.net

It has more to do with him pretty much single handedly winning SlayerS 2 GSTL's than the MLG win.

Seriously, imagine these two players had no character behind them, and we're analysing purely on the games, half of these people going "OMG SUCH GOOD GAMES underdog won!!" would be complaining how boring it is. Fact is you CAN'T take 'character' out. The reason there's so much tension is cause there's so much hype and expectation. There really is no such thing as a game that is won on purely mechanics and ability alone. There is always pressure and mettle and determination involved. And if the player can't take it then he tilts. And that is why MVP and Nestea are great. Very clutch. Very stable.

Polt isnt likeable? Polt hasnt a story? Well, he is there on the scene from the very starts of GSL. Life must be ugly if you are nothing more than a fanboy bro...

WOAH THERE Well isn't this the most biased fanboyism I've seen in a while. MMA is charismatic/likeable while Polt isn't? wow, just wow. This is a whole new level of fanboyism, actually bordering on SKT1 fanboys. Did you even watch the pre game interviews? MMA is a robot. Polt is not. Did you see them walk in from the poke balls? -_____-
