We will be moderating harshly in this thread. Think twice before you post. Things we are watching for: image macros, balance whining, "eagles", player bashing etc. We encourage civil and reasoned critique of our moderation - please post it in the website feedback forum.
Please don't complain about MLG stream quality or MLG itself. They work very hard to provide you with an enjoyable service.
Enough with the racism discussions, this is a LR Thread. Cut it out. -- updated 7:55 KST |

But if he ends up facing Thorzain again later in the tournament he'll be in a horrible position because of extended series.

i see MMA vs July in the final but for me doesn't matter who is the 2nd finalist cuz MMA will crush all.

Btw was gretorp 2:0 every single match he played? Im not sure
seems like there will be an mc vs july match and the winner will face MMA/Idra
haha i knew it mc vs idra rematch coming up

I know he won at least one game.

Where can i find a decent showing of results... It isn't anywhere on the MLG site :S

No matter how you slice it, extended series will come in play today. For the better or worse (depending on who you are a fanboy of).

From looking at Dallas bracket, I think:
NaNiwa/LosirA to where MC/July are, MMA/IdrA to where Slush/HayprO

^^Thanks. I would have preferred the other way around, but you can't get everything in life.

Yup, it certainly looks that way, so 2 Koreans could still be in the finals.

So everything is single elimination now, unless you won your pool? (Idra/Nani/MMA/Losira)

Honestly I hate extended series rule. They both get knocked down to the losers' bracket so they both equally deserve to be there at one point, why does one player need an advantage because he's the one that knocked the other one down?
I mean extended series rule means that if 2 players are closely matched it's better to let the slightly worse player through because he has a bigger shot due to no extended series. How dumb is that -.-'

I don't see MMA losing any TvZ. His play against Sheth and July was the best TvZ I have ever seen. I think the only player that has a chance against him is Mc maybe Naniwa.

Yes.
If IdrA manages to send MMA down to the lower bracket. I really like his chances of taking the whole thing. If he loses, I think his day is pretty much done. It will be very interesting to see if he can bounce back.

Just realised that Team Liquid will be in for a full day of team killing today.
