We will be moderating harshly in this thread. Think twice before you post. Things we are watching for: image macros, balance whining, "eagles", player bashing etc. We encourage civil and reasoned critique of our moderation - please post it in the website feedback forum. Please don't complain about MLG stream quality or MLG itself. They work very hard to provide you with an enjoyable service. Enough with the racism discussions, this is a LR Thread. Cut it out. -- updated 7:55 KST

Get Phoenixes to protect your Colossi from Vikings and completely stop drop play. If no Vikings are being made you can make Void Rays. You can harass the hell out of your opponent too. I just don't get it. It eats up gas that could've gone into other tech. For most Protoss, Colo/Phoenix isn't worth it, especially when the alternative (HT/Colo) is much more viable. Besides, Protoss can just leave a few units in base to deal with drops, or use Feedback to nullify them.

And then I'll kill your medivac with my 5 phoenixes and run away. Point is, drop diverted. If my army's there to kill your units then even better for me.

I'd have more issues with SeleCT going 0-5 and retaining his place if he hadn't been in a group where every single player would have been a contender for first or second in any other group. The format is definitely too protective of the top players given the fluctuation in the upper echelons (particularly since last years MLG circuit), but this is one time I won't complain about it xD Is it possible people have bad days and just don't have it sometimes? Kiwi dominated last MLG didn't have a great showing this time. Idra was good but not dominant last time and this time he is on fire. I think this method rewards long term high level play. It also rewards players for showing up to lots of MLG events.
