Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402) |

They usually do, just sometimes one set of casters need a break.

Sucks for them (if it was actually MLG's fault) but no way to accurately know. Even looking at the posts here, some say it's Catz fault for not following rules and some say it's MLG's fault. Future note: Double and triple check your game time! PS: Lots of no-shows on the Losers Bracket. The multiple no-shows may point to a lot of people getting told the wrong time I just can't believe players of these calibers would oversleep on a weekend as important as this
I agree, if multiple players are no-showing and complaining about being misinformed, then I feel accommodations should definitely be made. I understand it's problematic but apparently Catz showed up only 15 minutes late upon realizing he was missing his match and while I don't know the case for Pokebunny, I doubt it was too different.

They really need to mix in something else against mass marauder/viking combos these days. High Templar? Switching your robos to immortals and going some form of templar or archon is a good switch, especially when the terran has that many vikings...wasted supply. Not really, Thorzain lands them infront of his MM and they tank tons of shots and out DPS stalkers. Have you ever seen a landed vikings against immortals? Have you ever seen how slow immortals shoot while stimmed marauders wipe them out? Of course. I've seen many times what happens when a terran player tanks zealots while trying focus immortals. The vikings are tanking the chargelots. The stimmed marauders wipe out the immortals than beat the rest of the gateway army without immortals. The only way that could have gone well is if he went double forge, in which case his colossi wouldnt be coming out fast anyway for this situation to arise. Why are you even arguing here though, he said they are wasted supply when they are clearly not when you can land them as tanks and they do the same dps as a stalker. Or it could have gone well if he didn't, you know, scout double reactored starports and then invest in producing units that are ripped apart by vikings. He should have stuck to mass gateway and then teched to high templar, which rip apart marinesand vikings and do well against marauders and ghosts if controlled properly. He only had one forge and it looked like he was about to do a templar switch, he was making sure Thorzain didn't just come and kill him since he kept applying pressure. Thorzain also had ghosts which supplements his army a ton vs. just gateway before templar come out, and then they still counter templar. What are you people even arguing anyway. seriously, why is this a becoming a discussion about what the protoss could have done? Tbh he was just way to late. At the time he spotted the 2nd reactor going down, he had 3 colossi vs 2 vikings. That should be plenty time to tech switch.

I'm changing my stance. Since ROOT is admitting it wasn't MLG who told them the wrong time (bystander?), it's completely their fault. So I highly doubt it is MLG's fault now...

It's funny how everybody thinks that it's MLGs fault when it lags even tho alot of ppl here don't have an internet that can actually support 2 HQ streams running simultaneously...
|
Why are both streams showing the same thing... i thought the point of these streams was to show as many games as possible, and why arent they finishing up the group play? i wanna see tyler vs idra dammit.

Why are the people espousing refresh always telling people who have problems that they're idiots and have no common sense? It's ironic because there IS actually a problem and MLG even announced that they're trying to fix the problem. STOP announcing to everybody that you're a genius for refreshing the page and bashing people who have legitimate streaming problems that are out of their control.

Can someone post the results of all the televised games so I can put them into the OP?
I went for a little nap since this goes into the morning hours here in Europe.
