One thing that's kinda sad. Having most of your group active so you actually have to play games. Have a 5-2 record, but it's still not good enough.

Then looking at the next match brackets and see some guy who was 4-3 advance....and all of his wins were FFW.

i was supposed to play vs someone who had wrong battle.net id added now. in 2nd group stage. WTF???

then i can also see two more forfeit wins added already.... i was really hoping there would only be active players left.

for some reason i cant load the site on my desktop, but it works fine on my laptop.

ive tried different browsers and reinstalled flash, etc

any1 else gettin this?

Aww man, don't give up! You may not do well but it's at least good to keep showing up for your opponents. You can just mess around each game or do something to make it fun for ya, but it's always a disappointment if your opponent doesn't show up : /

But, if you're not having fun and the people in your group aren't pleasant to chat with, then I don't blame you for backing down.

Anyway, I was wondering why shakuras is regular old shakuras instead of an MLG shakuras? The fact that a Double Bunker rush still works well on that map surprises me that they would have kept it in. Maybe the tournament officials should think about either taking the map out or putting in a revised version for the next tournament/later stages of the current tournament.

i didnt check everyone in my group but considering i cant even beat a high diamond, theres no point of trying XD

I am not sure what the process of approving a FFW is, but it is quite frustrating having my first match of the day still up on my interface when I need to check in for the 2nd match. I would hope it could be verified in 2 hours that my opponent forfeited. This led to the 2nd guy not seeing me checked in and reported a FFL when we were both ready to play, so I now have to deal with more support emails and disputes to get my 2-0 victory and FFL removed.

Man this is the longest tournament i've ever played in my life, I made it so far and tried so hard to follow through with this extremely unbelievably long lasting tournament, i'm more angered with myself for missing ONE day where I was in the qualification round of this tournament, but I made the ridiculous mistake of going out to party with friends and come back thinking oh fuck , I had to play in that match today, well I missed it like i'm sure some others have because of how long it lasted.

Like I said it's my own fault and i'm more mad at myself but god this tournament lasted to long, god bless.

I feel like they could have compressed it more, 2 matches a match day is good but there's no reason they had to do only 2 match days a week.

For some reason, none of the standings ever show up for me on the Geforce website. Is this because I am not logged in? Also, when I check the standings on liquipedia, I see a lot of players 0-5, but only those players have 5 games played. Did they drop out? Was this announced earlier and I missed it?
