You can't compare this to a tennis tournament where in tennis there is an independent group that ranks players year round based on determined formulas and has been used/tested for years. There is no similar comparison right now for SC2 though there are attempts like the TLPD to rank players. Unless it is something that is WIDELY accepted as an accurate way to rank players we wouldn't use it. This is something we will continue to evaluate for future events, something like a 3rd or 4th skill division between Pro and Am's might be a solution we look at first. | ||
