Out of curiosity, has anyone else been getting absolutely unacceptable lag in the unpaid SQ stream this season? It's barely watchable. I don't know how long this has been a problem, as I was on HQ for GSL May and (like everyone else) the World Championship, but I'm definitely reluctant to pay for a ticket if the stream quality is this bad.
It doesn't seem to be an issue on my end; my bandwidth and ping time (using their own testing utility) are well above the requirement.

1. Mvp 2. Bomber 3. MarineKing 4. sC 5. NaDa
It's hard to rank the protoss players, I'ved watched a lot of TesteR's games and really haven't been that impressed by him apart from a couple of gimmicky builds that lost half the time anyway. MC of course is still #1. Maybe protoss is harder to play at the top level than a lot of people want to admit.
Hard to weigh who's best of each race based on mirror match ups
TvT: one misclick or wrong positioning and you die PvP: mis-micro and you die ZvZ: wrong build order and you die
MVP is hardly the best terran coz his vZP is blah. Bomber is too new. sC is good but too fragile. NaDa is consistent but can't seem to win everything. MKP is forever #2.
MC is great but you know exactly what he's going to do, and Alicia exploited that. Alicia is really good, but hasn't won anything. San sometimes has brilliant strategies, often has terrible ones. TesteR is a big question mark. HuK is a choker, but is actually great.
Nestea is the best among the zergs, with July next.. maybe? Can't really think of anyone else who's consistent. Z's either dominate or get absolutely crushed, it is weird.

Based on past experience (GSL January) I think the paid SQ stream is less laggy than the free SQ stream. Probably because there are less connections to it or dedicated servers or something.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.....

...am I a bad GSL fan if I wish Bomber vs. Nestea was first so I could watch it now and then go to bed?
All the other matches look good, but....Bomber vs. Nestea! Probably the best Zerg against arguably the best Terran! One of the game's most accomplished players against the rising player finally playing to his potential!
(I'm actually surprised NesTea's ZvT is a good-but-mortal 58 percent. Checking his stats, it's funny to see how many more Terrans he's had to play...I feel like the early seasons, where Terran was almost everyone, contribute something to that...)

The free SQ has been pretty good to me the past few weeks, unlike the start of 2011. Though I live in Asia so maybe there is less latency?

As an Australian lag is almost expected but the Super Tournament has been loads better for me than GSL May. On both free SQ and HQ after I got monies.

Streaming servers are in the US, so living in Asia doesn't help

Always worked fine for me from east coast US, I think its just certain areas that have routing issues or something.
