I wouldn't be so sure... I've seen a youtube video where Bomber stomped Losira and his TvZ looks pretty damn solid. The winner between Nestea or Bomber has the potential to win the whole tourney imo.

Though I think he is the most overrated person of those who have won GSLs (except Fruitdealer).
Now he gets beaten in PvP and I think that he is just above average in that matchup, Alicia has mastered it quite well as we can see from his play and in result is superior.

In terms of success, MC is above NesTea. First to 2 GSL wins, multiple international wins. He's won the most prize money, so yeah MC is the most successful SC2 player to date.

Doesn't NesTea have better perfomance in GSL though? Coming 3rd once as well. I'd say they're pretty even in success.
No player plays at their highest level in every game and MC seemed to just have a bad day and in PvP one miniscule mistake costs you the game. Alicia certainly played extremely well, let's see if he can keep it up. Indeed, the ability to always perform near your highest capacity is how you win tournaments. Leenock for one appears brilliant in, say, 20% of the time and is just mediocre rest of the time.

Yeah Incontrol has also beaten Whitera in bo3, which does of course not mean that he is the better player.

Sigh. I hate these kind of comments. If you think him and fruit are overrated for winning gsl's that only leaves nestea and mvp -_-. They're not overrated, they're known for a reason. Just because alicia beat mvp in a bo3 doesn't mean he's now some PvP god. Mc's record is still far more impressive. They're both very skilled in the matchup. I don't understand why all top tier players can't be respected.
