Pathetic? Get over yourself. Yes, if A beats B sometimes and B beats A sometimes, it's perfectly okay to say that they're on each other's list of kills. By your logic, Player A can only boast a "kill" on another player when he has NEVER been beaten by Player B. Do you realize how stupid that is?

No, he's saying that alicia is, in fact, a good code s player, but he doesn't think that alicia is as good as artosis says, which i agree with. I was impressed with his win over MC (obviously) and if he continues to beat those caliber of players, then you can argue your case. Also, if he continues to beat the best players he will eventually win a championship so you can even further your argument.
But that guys whole point is people beat each other especially at the top level, so saying he beat X therefore he is good means nothing. MC lost to alicia but has 100k+ in prize money while alicia has very little if none. Which looks better?

No, many people on here listen to what artosis says and just go along with it. MMA has beaten top level players as a sniper in a team league, sure. But he's in code A and couldn't beat huk (which i find to be a very low level code s player) to get into code s. Losira is a bit better, but just like clide, trickster, and a few other players, artosis and tasteless constantly say how good they are and constantly they do not win, or even impress, during their games. Yet, the people on TL talk about how good those players are.

It's actually done with a seeding system, although it is not great for seeding the best players as of this very tournament.
As far as I have read, the way it is done is that the games are set to be chosen at random, although the top 16 players with the most points in all GSLs combined are specially placed so they cannot meet until round of 16.
It is just unlucky that because the better players that emerged later in SC2 have not played in many GSLs as they have had to come through qualifiers and Code A, whereas players like anypro and TOP, while never really have had great success (anypro made it to the Ro4 once, but was beaten fairly well) have been consistantly placed in Ro32 in Code S and higher, so they end up with more GSL points then someone like Bomber and Alicia who just got into Code S recently.
That is why you get odd games such as Byun v Legalmind while you have matches like MC v Alicia which seems crazy for a Ro64 game and NesTea v Bomber which could easily have been the final, in the Ro32 instead
