Deny versus Cytoplasm on off stage.

They both did decent against MVP. Should be good!

I can't see MVP losing this tournament unless he plays really poorly. The competition just isn't there :S. At least we get to see some play out of the relatively obscure Chinese SC2 scene. It's said they're becoming good, even considering the fact that WC3 far and wide eclipses SC2 in China.

Didn't rage quit. Just never gg'd, even though he knew he wasn't going to win.

never gg means ragequit i thought? you are supposed to gg when you lose.

Indeed, he should have gg'd when he lost. But he never quite left the game before losing, so I wouldn't quite call it a quit. But that's just me. I guess you can call it a ragequit if you classify it as one. I just call it WC3-style bm.

I cannot believe we place so much emphasis on etiquette. -_-

I missed the game, so I cannot comment on what took place but come on now.

If it came down to the last building and he had a good force I'd go for it too.

Not BM when you lose the last building. The game just ends you don't get to gg.

Precisely

I don't know why so many people make a big deal about something so trivial.

We've got MKP there, he is able to take a game of MVP. For the rest, not gonna happen.

He could lose against Supernova in a TvT if the latter is in top shape. But otherwise yeah, MVP's probably got this.

HuK is representing Canada.

You are aware that he has dual citizenship. Technically represents both even though he has the CAN flag up there and EG sent him.

Yes but I'm pretty sure he's officially according to wcg only representing Canada.

and apparently IdrA still plays Terran according to them.

In either case it doesn't really matter. If you have dual citizenship you have dual citizenship. That's all that counts.

What logic is this? Huk is representing CANADA not US. It doesn't matter that he has dual citizenship when only went to WCG to represent Canada.

What the hell you think I just said? Some people.

Hurrr you said he represents both when he doesn't.

It's like talking to a brick wall.

I'm going to post you a link that sort of explains my premise because apparently I'm not making myself clear enough.

http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/mky36/huk_to_represent_canada_to_wcg_2011/

Look at z33k_DoomsVille's comment. It's the first one. Specifically points 3 and 4.

HuK had a choice to choose because he had dual citizenship. He chose the Canadian flag because before signing on with TL and moving to Korea he was based out of Canada.

Make sense now?

Good.

Do you have information about the USA National Finals? None seems to be available. If HuK made top 3 of the USA National Finals, then yes he could rep either countries. If he did not make top 3 in the USA National Finals, then he was only able to rep Canada. So either don't pretend you know the case, or fill us in on how you're really making the assumption.

Edit: I retract my statement, as HuK didn't make top 3 from Canada anyways. Seems that WCG just allowed HuK to participate just because the countries he has citizenship with did not have any participants that were actually able to compete. Thus yeah, he could have repped either country.

For a terran, supernova is far more likely to upset Mvp than MarineKing.

There were no national finals because WCG USA didn't organize/didn't have the money to send players.

A lot of results are still unknown though. Hard to get the information from the venue for games that don't get streamed...

It was totally his choice.

There was no USA finals so any of those players could have gone who qualified. HuK was one of several who qualified.

HuK never played in the Canadian tournament and Kiwi won that one.
