Idra and Wheat had excellent synergy---- Idra showing us his impeccable, insightful analysis, and Wheat giving the cast color and focus. The 2v2 was an interesting wrinkle in the usual tournament format, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the match. Seeing how these matches develop is actually one of the things that I'm looking forward to the most. The production was nicely done. It had personality, was professional, and did a good job of showing us the relevant information. I will definitely be tuning in to the rest of the tourny.

I really hope people will be happy with the fixes now that we won't have crazy lag popping up when it matters the most. I'd love it if people would comment on it after tomorrows matches. Thanks!

Also if Terran is dumping gas into zerg, since he's on marine only army, he really doesn't need the gas and infestors can come up super quickly for the zerg. And since infestors aren't quite as expensive mineral-wise, it's okay for zerg to go for a less economical build to put on early pressure and still transition into infestors with the extra gas input.

Nice results from Mouz Shows people that Kiwi is their only strong player on the team. It shows, he's the only one to take a game off someone. I don't know why Drewbie would "lol". How many times has Morrow baneling busted Terran. I'm not saying it's cheesy so please don't interpret it at way. All I'm saying is it's a very strong strategy that Morrow uses to punish greedy Terrans. We all know Morrow is good at it. Drewbie taking risks because he knows he's not as good?

Cool to hear idra in a professional setting where instead of saying "yeah that was a stupid move, he's terrible", he'd explain why someone came out ahead, in a constructive way. Having someone with that level of understanding adds TONS of value to the commentary.

Due to an update with a few programs, there was some crazy shit going on. Long story short, some default settings got applied that shouldn't have, and I was using a very crappy configuration while streaming. This has been resolved and the upcoming Master's Cup matches should be a much better viewing experience. I take full responsibility for this as we've changed quite a bit of things over the past month, and this came outta left field. I really hope people will be happy with the fixes now that we won't have crazy lag popping up when it matters the most. I'd love it if people would comment on it after tomorrows matches. Thanks! Good to hear. Keep up the good work, today's casting/analysis was among the best I've heard in a long time — you and Grack have good chemistry.

As for ROOT being the strongest team, I'd still say they're the strongest team in NA with EG right at their heels. Mouz just happens to be the strongest team in EU, and Europe has generally boasted strongest players than NA. Oh well, the games were kind of goofy in general, I didn't feel they were too indicative of a skill disparity, but ROOT did play a little poorly this time around.

Fnatic is bad team despite winning GCPL over ROOT and EG, but they're clearly best teams in NA. It's at least a 3 team discussion. There is no clear favorite

I think EG is probably better than Root at this point for what it's worth. They've added DeMuslim while Root has lost qxc and Sheth.

And a quick comment on the synergy between Idra and djWHEAT; while yes there were hiccups in the cast, I think that this was the closest thing to a play by play combined with a color commentator I have seen in e-sports yet, Tasteosis excluded. Having those super defined roles when casting anything, be it Baseball or Starcraft II, makes the production values skyrocket in my book. In other pairings, from what I have seen, the commentators will step on each others toes a little bit, but with djWHEAT being the designated excitement guy and Idra being the go to analysis guy, the toe stepping was almost non-existent.
