Chicane: Very interesting. Complexity is on the verge of making it to the finals and they are playing Destiny. I am not saying it is a bad choice, just an interesting one. Also Xeris playing 2v2... D: (as well as lefNaij playing for Fnatic as well).
this match was played a few days ago before destiny left the team

gotta love destiny's style of play.

Nvm, he just roflstomped his expo with infested terrans.

All I can say Infestors are like the all-starts players that can do anything. Wow Infested terran.
|
Wow, nice job Steven, Kawaii is a pretty solid player!!
|
Really good game. Showing the power of the infestors very well.
|
Destiny does a good job of being an entertaining and creative player. For that I'll always be a fan, and watch his games.
|
Best way to crush a terran: use terrans themselves. Neural Parasiting and Infested Terrans were awesome.
Also, people need to realize how strong 3/3 cracklings are.

if he did corruptors instead of so many lings the game would be over 20 min ago he always loses broodlords to few vikings because he has not enough AA
|
I feel like if he had fixed the misrally and had those units at the push at the gold KR would have won that game. Really frustrating.
|
I can't believe that it took zerg players about a year to start making infestors. Terran goes bio??? fungals Terran goes mech? Neural Parasite And if u just want to have awesome DPS for half a minute, you just spam infested terrans and u r good to go.

even with the emp it felt like kawaii was helpless to the infestors well played by destiny

to be honest Kawaii got like 1-2 emp's off that whole game and thats it. If he had ghosts earlier I think he would have crushed that push. He didn't even know broodlords were coming until they were already out.
And i'm sorry but 1-2 emp's should not make 18 infestors useless.

Right after the first one/two attacks, the opponent knows that he is going heavy infestor, and is starting to plan for this, Steven almost always has the high gas count to switch into muta. I really think that just making about 10-12 muta instead of 8 more infestors is a faster way to end the game. Mass infestor makes every game he plays on the ladder turn into such a long game.

lol, damn. idra certainly doing work for his team, unfortunately not enough.

need to work on emps, I never play vs this infestor heavy style on korea but if I get ghost ill be fine ~~

EG reminds me a lot of Hwaeseung from Brood War... one superstar (IdrA vs. jaedong), a couple of solid albeit inconsistent performers (DeMuslim/Incontrol/Axslav vs. HiyA/Anytime). The goal in the Bo5 with an ace match for Hwaeseung was to have one non-jaedong player win a set so they can get to an ace match where jaedong would try to win for them. Seems like what EG had to do here.
All EG needs is a couple of tragically comical players (i.e. Killer/Perfectman) to be a perfect match.

True, jaedong's mental fortitude is one of his major strengths while it's IdrA's major problem.
On topic, I think wheat/incontrol underestimate how freaking good infestor/ling is.

Incontrol is making this hilarious :D
