Seems like another allin in game3 upcoming MC plays like that too and is widly considered best protoss. And it wasn't all-in, it's called strategic play and exploiting the enemies weakness. Do garanteed damage and it's not all-in. I agree, no way that was all-in, just a perfect timing push An all-in that's going to work is still an all-in -_-
An all-in implies you actually risk losing something. Otherwise it's just a stealing-candy-from-a-kid build.

dam anypro , attack now or switch to robo, phoenix dont win u game

This is great pheonix play. Nestea got pretty greedy here and Anypro handled his pressure excellently.

You're being trolled, for sure. How is ling/hydra an all in when he still had money to expand, as well as he saw there was no colossus? Attacking at any time without 4 bases is now an all-in, apparently. If that push doesn't kill the opponent you're on 2 base with pure hydraling against colossus tech. That's a total all-in, that's like saying 2 base colossus timings aren't allin because you can skip a warp-in and grab a third - sure, but you're super behind for no benefit. He could easily have retreated from a Colossus, and taken a third, and chilled. Hell, if he had a faster colossus he could have even taken that out. You have absolutely no way to hold the 2-3 colossus push that should be impending on your third from that position in the game. If that build doesn't do serious damage you're behind - the definition of an all-in. No, that's the definition of a failed attack. Any attack that fails will leave you behind, duh! An allin is where you have no reasonable prospect of winning the game if it fails to deal heavy damage. Not just being behind.
I'm lost, I just described a situation where you are guaranteed to lose if the opponent does a standard timing push (by lose I mean lose your third and likely your natural a little later). That isn't just being behind O_o that's what happens when an all-in fails.

I don't think this build was a smart choice on this map, the hydra reinforce was way to slow. That said, how often do Toss get that many phoenix up. Interesting game.

Please don't start this.

hm, I think nestea really should've invested into infestors midway through that first attack when he realized there were mass phoenix.
|
artosis is forgetting phoenixes have bonus damage to light, and I think anypro has plus 1 air as well.
|
That is a really genius way to counter hydras with phoenixes
|
actually is anypro one of the more consistent gsl code s players after nada?
i seem to always see his name in ro16 ro8 since forever. Maybe GSL1? He kinda always flew under everyone's radar.

At this point he really needs some corruptors..

AnyPro showing how 2 base Hydra should be punished.

Nestea losing all his drones to phoenixes

Anypro killing a lot of drones, NesTea getting roach speed and a spire.
