He is somehow affiliated with TakeSen and maybe responsible for taking care of the Koreans that are in Germany for Homestory Cup (Losira and MC). Some speculation on my part here, but he always translates for Koreans coming over to Germany. So people in chat thought (and I personally think its quite likely), that it was actually MC or Losira who were playing with his account. Mind you this "Reis" came out of nowhere, played random and took the tourney against some european top players. I am actually surprised noone made a thread about this.

Yeah, Reis helps the koreans when they travel to foreigner tournaments and I think some koreans played on his account in a IEM tournament if I'm not mistaken. Losira is in Korea so I doubt it was him. It's probably MC since he's in Germany now, but I can't be 100% sure. The admins of this tournament shouldn't allow players to smurf like that. It's ok to play on other account but let your opponent know who you are -.- Also no replays got uploaded T.T

reis is not a bad player i guess, but he's protoss on ladder and the person who played as reis today played random/terran in a pretty cheesy way, with a constant 250 apm. together with very weird behaviour on bnet, that leads to a very high likelyhood that it was indeed MC or whoever else is staying with reis. if someone has replays by reis where he actually plays (he has quite a few high masters ladder games after all http://sc2ranks.com/eu/1433739/reis) they would be much appreciated to see. as "the reis" who played yesterday literally was sporting a constant 250 sc2 apm so a simple glance onto the apm tab of 5 reps could pretty much figure out if reis was playing or not. i don't want this to be a huge shitstorm, although some attention would be nice, because i would like to reward the person who actually played with the prize money, and not some random german who has koreans playing on his account -_- if all gets sorted out and reis was actually playing then i eat my words of course.

I don't think Reis did that so people can see him as a good player or to win the prize money ![]() MC (if it was him) probably had some free time during the evening and Reis helped him join this cup. If there's anyone to blame is the admins who should have looked into this during the later rounds. Reis isn't a pro player and it's pretty obvious it wasn't him. I wouldn't be surprised if some koreans also played ladder on his account during tournaments like IEM or Dreamhack, which would explain his decent stats.

But he won in a fair way so can't argue that. I think those accounts are provided by the tournament organizers and the players are not allowed to use them somewhere else.
