Since the TSL3 is on break this week, we've decided to do a special episode of TL Attack. For those unfamiliar with the program, we did a few shows during Beta, including episodes with with FXO.qxc and Liquid`Tyler. The guest exchanges friendly banter with the hosts and plays games with fans and community members.
TSL3 casters Chill and djWHEAT join forces with Liquid`TLO and play 3v3 against you, the viewer. We'll announce a question on stream, for example "who is djWHEAT's son?" and the first three players to join the channel "miniWHEAT" will get to play. The show will be streamed and will last roughly two hours.
Join us this Saturday to watch some epic 3v3 creativity (and cheese). Can the community defeat our three gladiators? Or will djWHEAT 8-pool his way to a perfect record? Find out this weekend!

The stream is pretty choppy for me at the moment, every 20 seconds or so the sound cuts out for 2 or 3 seconds, it's the same on the LQ-stream.
And in the past I had no problems with the HQ stream -.-

Well, no point watching like this. Pretty disappointing after last weeks TSL had those stream-problems, too.
I'm going to tune in in half an hour or so again, hopefully by then it's better.

I love TL attack, it's pretty much my favorite TL show, but this isn't really cutting it for me
perhaps having someone commentating not playing to keep the players a little distracted and keep the commentary flowing during the game

Yeah, I agree. TLA is normally just amazing, but a big part of the humor generally stems from the commentators, with players commenting when they aren't occupied. If Wheat and Chill were just commentating a TLA with TLO I think it'd probably be better.
The fact that 3v3 is pretty funny to begin with is the redeeming factor of this format. There's also probably no way we're seeing another 3v3 TLA in the future, so get your kicks whether it's optimal or not.

Does the LQ stream ever work without freezing constantly? My connection is fast enough I always watch HQ at home, but I've checked the LQ stream from time to time during TSL and it's always been way worse. Now that I'm at my parents and could actually use the LQ stream (capped at 213 kbps download, just a bit too slow for HQ) it's the same as ever, streaming at ~55 - 60 kbps and the video having 1 - 2 fps. It's the most consistently bad stream I've encountered, strange when the HQ stream is so consistently awesome.

Yay! MorroW is going to the Stockholm SC2 house. MorroW is probably one of the best practice partners because of his extensive knowledge of maps, zerg and terran. Not only that but he is already really good, so once he is out of school he should be even better.

Today was so much fun a great break from all the super serious TSL, IPl, NASL Games that has been going on just getting to hear 3 people chill out and play some fun games with the fans.
also hotbid is amazing as an observer.

Oh god, I love TLAttack. Can't wait to see TLO in 1v1 (flashbacks to tlownage in beta, can't wait to see what it's like with more developed play), 3v3 it's a lot harder to do silly things since it's so prone to rushes/maps are designed pretty badly, but they made it work today. So funny. :D

Nydus would be so good on that greed map. I think mass queen + medevac + broodlord + ghost would be a cool strat. I'd actually like to see them do this again but practice and actually plan out creative strats. Maybe play against actual 3v3 teams. I'd like to see an all pro player 3v3 or 4v4 TL attack (nothing against wheat or chill) maybe use a crazy team like TLO + Catz + Kiwikaki (be nice to see 1 person from each race and all are very creative) Or a TLswarm attack with 3 top zergs, idra + catz + spanishiwa would be really great to see (and I play toss!)Chill that is the 1st time I've ever seen someone have 3 successful cannon rushes in 1 game GJ! and nice nukes in that other game. The observer was really good (Hotbid I think?)
All and all was very entertaining I hope you guys do tl attack much more often!

Heh, that last game was hilarious. Certainly the best of the night.
For this TLAttack, I did feel that this format did lack a dedicated caster. Too much of this stream was taken up with Hot Bid looking into someone's base while some player was macroing, and the three players were having to fill time by saying fairly anodyne stuff like 'Oh, he's making mutalisks' or whatever - Starcraft eats up all of your attention span, so there's not a lot of room for saying anything other than whatever it is you're having to cope with ingame.
The previous two TLAttacks had Chill and Incontrol filling up the slow and duller parts of the games with mickey-taking of both players, or asking the pro about what he was doing when he wasn't on TLAttack, or ripping Teeler for his supposed "mic problem" and that added a lot. I think this edition suffered from not having at least one person dedicated to entertaining the viewers - even though Wheat and Chill are certainly both up to that task in normal circumstances, having them do that while also trying to play a game of Starcraft at the same time was a bit much...
Not that it wasn't reasonable entertainment anyways, and I won't be demanding my money back!

That was rather entertaining to watch. I did enjoy how TLO managed to attain zero army supply one game since Queen's don't count as army...Then proceeded to decimate along with Chill's mass marines. I enjoyed watching those quite a bit..Would love to see more team games with this format compared to 1v1 style. Mainly because they have other players to talk with the whole time and there are less standard defined game patterns.
I do like the unpredictability of the games too. I mean you know who has the army's and is leading economically wise, but with the maps and all the various attack routes, if you catch an army or 2 off gaurd, you can win the game that way.
