Ro8 brackets are quite bad. TSL against each other - clide vs killer and the new Hero Zerg's FD and Nestea vs each other. Also, Losira put against Alicia. So many good players and definitely eliminated next round so sad

* DT takes out all of your SCVs.
* Stalker takes our your Orbital Command
Two bad mistakes, shit happens.
From here you still have the lead with some tanks, supply deopts and also an Engineering bay.
Rain made some mistakes but seriously - why, o why didn't he make any SCVs? Why didn't he build new supply depots near your missile turret instead of calling down supply?
I kind of feel bad for Rain. It seems like something went terribly wrong in his mind in this stressful situation.

The bracket is looking really intense....
I think LosirA vs Alicia basically decides the bottom half of the bracket, If Alicia wins, his only real obstacle is Nestea (who I predict to make it to at least Ro4 on ZvZ). However, if LosirA wins, I can see Nestea taking another GSL.
Bottom bracket really seems a bit stronger, I'm not sure who from the top bracket can take down Nestea or Alicia,winner of Supernova/TOP will be the main contender from the top half I think.

I think simple measures like 1 scan in the mineral line + scv attack on dt would have saved him the game, but Rain managed to botch it... sigh

He wanted quick Raven out... Sadly the depos went down before he could start it (another big fail) cause it looked like the scv and marine poped up.

Rain really did have the game in the palm of his hand. He had a massive army pinning Inca in his base with a robust economy, yet ignored the DTs chipping away at his own base (30+ kill DT in his main!) because he was sure that by de-powering all of Inca's buildings he would be have an insurmountable advantage. He dropped supply depot bonuses on depots under attack by a DT instead of investing in his economy. Worse of all, he let a single stalker pound away at an orbital with full health and energy to death... perhaps Rain thought that by rushing his raven out, he could just push with his marine tank and win instantly. But Rain's overconfidence backfired spectacularly as he realized too late that Inca still had plenty of probes left over mining at his new base along with the gateways re-powered.
Inca's scrappy play at the end was amazing though - he had Rain cornered at his base by harassing with his last 4 DTs one at a time, taking advantage of that map control to sneak a probe over and re-power his gateways while making probes. I think he had ~24 probes to Rain's 4 at the end of the game... and 6 gates from which to spam chargelots.

He didn't make SCVs because he was supply blocked. In fact, he was trying to gun out a raven, which is why he called down those 2 supplies, which was a major !@#$-up regardless.

ye he called down but even after that still didn't have enough supply for the raven. so he loses scan's or potential mules. so many blunders.

lol just realizing, did people actually compare HuK to Rain? I love to watch HuK, and I have never seen anything close to that collapse. Let's cut him a break there. I mean...WOW lol.

He was scared of the DTs. He had no supply or minerals for SCV, and didnt want to drop a mule and have it taken out by DT (which is what he should have done). Its tough to think well in those situations. The real snarf was losing his orbital to one stalker.

Just noticed that the race distribution for Ro16 is exactly the same as Ro32, just the amounts are halved.
Also the world is going to implode with two Jiyeon v Eunjung games with FD v Nestea and Alicia v Losira.

I hate how all the Zerg players are on one side of the bracket. At least it probably means that one of them is making it to the semi-finals >.< Fruitdealer vs Nestea round 1? I was hoping that this season would be Fruit's resurgence, or Nestea barely ekeing the win out of a close finals again... maybe next time =(
