you realise that hasuobs is from Europe and they probably play on US?
I'm really hoping for a BoxeR win here but his micro looked so slow compared to what it usually is. I'm not saying he lost because of lag as I'm sure both players are affected by it but when T go M&M micro is so important compared to just a-walking chargelots.

Generally people say gg and leave directly so there's nobody to say it back to.
And given they are casting replays, they might have the replays from the looser who leaves right after gg with no chance of response?
No, actually people believe it is a sign of skill to leave the game as quickly as possible after they lost and typed gg. That's why the opponent can not replay so fast.

they are probably generally focused on closing out the game, and the other player leaves before they can answer the GG
okay, I just wondered, maybe there's a strict no talking rule or something.
Can't make up my mind who I want to see winning. I feel like Hasu really deserves it, but I don't really want to see another PvP
Nah players have been asking for pauses and the like, and the statement that winners never get to return the gg is false. It happend alot in CrunCher V mondragon for example.
Either way amazing first game in this MU. Hoping it goes to game 5!

No, neither of the players actually leave the game when one of them writes gg. If they did it would read "Player has left the game". Usually players are quite fast to respond with gg to an opponents ggs of surrender, but in TSL none of the games actually show a gg response. Makes me think it was a rule too. Like "Do not leave the game immediately upon surrender, and do not respond to a losing player's gg".
Game 1: Boxer plays standard game but either due to bad control or latency fails to micro his MMM and loses a big group of it early on due to being out of position. HasuOb takes 5 bases and crushes through. Surprising resilience from Boxer's units was seen due to great upgrades and good positioning but HasuObs kept up with the upgrades.

I can imagine stutter step micro is pretty hard with lag, and against speedlots and storm if you don't micro you will get massacred. Boxer didn't get out macroed, he had a mistake with the units being out of position, and then unable to react in time because of delay most likely. Hasu played well enough to get the win in the end regardless.
