Did you even watch game two? They spent practically the whole game discussing the merits of MC's build. They only started to talk about Thorzain when Artosis mentioned his huge number of vikings.

There's a middleground where you might want to bring enough scvs to e.g. kill the nexus but don't expect to actually kill everything right there and then. If you bring all scvs, he will bring all probes putting you down significantly. If you don't bring all scvs, he can't pull all probes from mining because he knows you have some left + mules.

Hoping for MC to win at least 1 major macro game. However, he just didnt seem up to the task in the first 2 games.

the key to this game, does MC get upgrades?

Thorzain just plainly outplayed MC in the first two. i know that is hard to believe, but he did. both games he had 2/2 upgrades on bio when MC had none at all, nice overall unit micro vs colossus in game 1, and even the disadvantage of having gone for 14 vikings kind of blindly and MC completely skipping colossus for HT could not keep Thorzain from landing all these bad boys and chaingunning the shit out of the protoss until gg.

I think the problem is that if you Bit-By Bit prime all in, then you have no hope of still playing. You have to end it RIGHT there. Now remember if he had sent all his scvs, even if he had managed to kill that nexus, MC could just sit at the top of his ramp and FF it. Then the longer that "stand off" went on, the better position MC was in.

But Koreans don't lose except to lag or other extenuating circumstances. MC brought the Korean lag with him! :S
I don't know who to cheer for anymore. Everyone I cheer for gets knocked out. I want to see MC to the finals but Thorzain is such a boss. Maybe the Emperor will retake his throne, but with the likes of Thorzain...

Adelscott did that just an hour ago... 15 nexus isn't uncommon.

Yeah, there's a bit of it. I'd say it's pretty had to be completely unbiased, though. Everyone has their preferred players - especially people who love the game as much as Artosis. (He was all over Thorzain's nuts about putting "wp" after the gg, though - that was a bit much)

Well even if he isn't as confident in all-ins as macro games I think it's a good move when you are 2-0.

For the terran, yes the terran has to macro otherwise he is dead. For the protoss? Not so much, he can just do 4/6 warpgate all in if he wants. These maps are really silly and are a pretty big problem TvP.

I would love to see some of MC's heavy forcefield play as well.
