There are plenty of perfectly good builds that induce such cointossiness. Seriously, if I could 15 or 16 nex in perfectly good information and safety, this game would be seriously imba. Really shouldn't blame the guessing games on Starcraft. Just don't be so greedy -_-;;, and if you want to, then don't be sad when it doesn't work sometimes.

Thats why you do a build which can properly respond to both, if you dont you are taking a risk.
And if your opponent goes FE instead? Then the Protoss player is behind economically. Please don't post stupid things. Since the days of SC1, there always has and will be build order wins.

See the thing is Boxer was creative with his cheese.
MC invented pretty much every Protoss cheese around. 6gate vs. Terran, 6gate vs. Zerg, every sentry-related timing push, the nexus cancel xgate push. He won GSL 3 when Protoss was the underpowered race with no results and invented/popularised a variety of new strategies, making him single-handedly responsible for the current era of Protoss dominance, exactly like BoxeR made Terran a race to be reckoned with. Haters gonna hate.
The thing is that protoss has never been underpowered lol. ChoyafOu also did some void ray cheesy strat to knock out MVP in season 2...
And Terran was never underpowered either, it's just that until BoxeR came around no one had been able to use the race properly. Choya winning with coinflips doesn't mean Protoss was competitive back then.
Look at the scbw history b4 u talk, terran WAS underpower back then b4 boxer's existance......
Havent followed it that much but after that pretty much T won everything with him and nada
