MC played very greedily against Polt Game 1 Polt went 2rax (reactor + tech lab), and added a third rax when he realised MC went Nexus first. MC stayed on 1 gate for a long time and then went robo while losing several units in the middle of the map. MC threw down a bunch of gates in desperation but Polt just steamrolled over him. Game 2 Polt went 2rax (reactor + tech lab) while MC went 1 gate Nexus robo. Polt once again shut down the Nexus (did some nice mindgaming by hiding marauders to bait out stalkers too), set up a light contain and expanded behind it before falling back to defend in case MC went 1 base all in (he didn't). Polt proceeded to macro up a bit and then dissected MC with some very solid multitasking and drop play. It was kind of a result of MC's greedy builds being exploited, but Polt also played very solid games too. === sC was great imo, looked really impressive, and his comeback vs TOP was fantastic. Definitely proving his run last season wasn't a fluke | ||

In that last game , he pushed way too far ahead, he evened up the supply then tried to go for the kill but the 2 siege tanks on the high ground obliterated most of his army that was already at low health , he had the right idea he just pushed the advantage(? not really he just evened up the scores) too much and ending up getting wayy behind. | ||

Quite questionable for him not to expand against Supernova when he had map control with the mutas and he made some really questionable decisions against MC as well. sC, has looked quite solid for awhile, but I think TOP gave away the win in that game with some bad decision making when he was way ahead. First game was basically an economic cheese under the assumption Polt would follow the current fast expansion trend. MC really underestimated Polt's planning and was way too cocky with his expansion timings. | ||

edit: Though Polt looked very very promising. He played Terran the way it should be. It would have been a great and tough macro game either way. | ||
