TvT: a pretty entertaining matchup.

Although it's usually a marine+tank positioning war, there can also be a ton of variety in openers and unit composition as Banshees, Hellions, and Marauders are added into the mix. Marine+tank vs MMM or other funky builds can often be quite entertaining and can almost feel like a completely different matchup. SC2 TvT is truly a beautiful thing.

TvT and TvZ are the most entertaining match-ups to watch.

It's sad that it's because they're the only two matchups where you can control space.

So, MC comes back from dominating the foreigner scene only to get thrown out in the Ro32. Hmm.

I've kinda come to enjoy TvT, so watching today's VoDs will be delightful.

The dude won 2, how is there a champion curse? Didn't he break any "curse" by winning the 2nd?

He was knocked out in 2nd round the season after his first win The curse only works the season after a win (yeah, I'm making up rules for the curse :D)

That's your opinion. For me their actually the 2 most boring. I'd rather see some PvT and ZvZ's than terran wars again.

2 Most boring? Over PvP? My personal preference would be (in order):

PvT
TvZ
TvT
PvZ
ZvZ
PvP

Until PvP isn't just the 4 gate rush (give or take 2 builds) and ZvZ has a greater average length than 5 minutes they just don't excite consistently enough. Not saying that they can't be good. Heck, one of the WhiteRa MC matches lately gave me goosebumps, but generally it's just not exciting enough.

That said: actually found today's TvT a bit bleh. Some of the drops were nice, but most of the siege tank battles were meh.

SlayersBoxer took a different route by getting kicked out in the round of 32 and then doing well in the foreigner scene lol

Didnt expect polt to 2-0 MC. Ah well anything is possible in the group phase of GSL it seems. I don't see MC going down to code A seeing he finished third.

Not exactly, he went down 0-2 to White-Ra playing even smarter than he did against Polt, and facing elimination went back to his strength, which he didn't do today. MC threw himself out in the Ro32.

I missed the games, it boggles my mind how MC lost. It's Polt of all people, MC crushes everyone and he loses to Polt? SIGH!

Guess there's not really much room for mistakes in the Ro32. While I've got tremendous respect for MC, this "upset" actually made the season more interesting from an unbiased (i.e. not me) viewer's perspective.

So yeah whether it was due to lack of training because of the traveling, discomfort with returning to the Korean pro scene after playing vs only foreigners or just a bad day, MC's absence could arguably open up for many interesting possibilities. ..Like a Zerg winning?
