scarabs are exciting because they can potentially do tons and tons of damage or very little. whether they do or not is rarely the single deciding factor in a game. in idra vs socke, each set of the match was basically a dice roll. it was sort of like playing rock paper scissors and deciding the outcome of the set on the outcome of that.
