Well look at it this way, I can still be disappointed that MC didn't want to do another knock down drag out awesome game in a clash of the two god Protoss' but also not blame him for executing what is a good strategy that took in mind the weakness of his opponent. MC deserved to win that game, I just feel bad that White Ra didn't win the series after the amazing play in games one and 2. That's just the way the cookie crumbles, and even though game 5 was a let down the series as a whole (in fact the entire invitational) was amazing!

My frustration comes from the lack of showmanship. I want to see their mid and late game PvP (does that even exist?!) and MC knows that while he won, he did not win how a God would win. He won like a mere mortal, reverting to cheesy 'strategic' play. He gets the check, get gets the W. WhiteRa gets my respect though. LOLOL? Great tourny btw

The one sided favoritism in these threads is just so hilarious. Exactly, I see MC's final game cheese are very well calculated move. And what if someone is better in early game than late game? Should that really mean you don't deserve any wins? I would've wished a better prize distrubution, but grats to MC!

I guess they used the same version of Shakuras that MLG uses, where the only possible spawn points are cross positions.

Who expects a player to proxy 2gate in the final match with 10k on the line. Pretty heartbreaking for Whitera. But like he said, the fans he gains are more important than winning, and he's really establishing himself as the best foreign protoss and probably player, and one of the best players. Not to mention it was a good read on Whitera's constant cutting of corners to be more economical.

It's one thing to be disappointed that the player you cheered for didn't win. We've all been in that boat. But to insult MC's play while it is pointed out that if White Ra did it you would be all over his nuts is just ludicrous. And no, I prefer to see Koreans win, because on these boards they're the underdogs with the amount of blind fanboyism going on.

The price distrubution is really really horrible. Awesome production value. Horrible winner.
