San wasn't one of the players to drop Mvp to code A. I believe it was Alicia/Genius. Nevertheless, it's a complete joke for Mvp to be in code A. He's clearly at the top of the world (with MC).

Damnnnn MKP!!! Let it burn i guess! I really hope for him to win a title this year. And with the volume of tournament in Sc2, his record of silver could get so much worst than those of YellOw and Storks (Fantasy)....

i highly doubt that
yellow got like 7 silver medals

mkp already got 4 in less than 1 year.

There is a also a LOT more tournaments in one year in SC2 in terms of GSL than there was OSLs in SC1.

As much as I joked about MKP in my last post, the guy is by far, THE most consistent player in SC2 right now you could say, making it and being the runner up 3 times in a row, although he did have to play in the up and down matches once hahaha.

it's pretty obvious that MKP played protoss in SC1 and MVP played terran in SC1

He'll be champ yet! I don't mind the 4-2, one because I was kind of expecting it anyway, and two because that was an amazing game 3! Add BCs to the list of units foxer marines counter. Hahaha. This series just showed me that it's only a matter of time before he beats MVP. The last time they fought, it looked like he could never beat MVP. Also, there is no MVP in this GSL. Hope he wins gold this time.

I also think there is no shame in his 3 silvers. Better 3 silvers than none. He's only 17 and it's only been 6 months.

edit: I hope mkp doesn't get too upset and goes off his game.

Shame for MKP, but MVP is just SOOOOOO damn good. His TvT & TvZ are the best in the world. He's been much better recently at TvP too, but no Terran has really been able to consistently win in that matchup at this point in the metagame.

If he doesn't get unlucky matchups, MVP should definitely take Code A next season.

I think MVP has the best TvZ in the world actually.

No doubt that Bomber is good (highest ELO), but he clearly suffers from nerves on the main stage. Both times he played in GSTL he either was unimpressive (vs Ryung - and I believe Ryung will be a high Code A or low Code S player - his run in GSTL2 was pretty strong, but not as good as Artosis hyped), or barely won because his opponents made mistakes.

That being said, if he can get a few rounds of Code A in him, I think he will live up to his reputation.

Great games. Finally a final that didn't suck.

MVP being in Code A really is disappointing, not least because he'll play Min in the Ro16 meaning only one of them can be in Code S next season. Guess it shows that everyone really does have a win and a loss in them.

I feel so bad for MKP. But I guess MVP, being a Code-A-man, needed some type of boost too.

I just watched these games. Good games, but the results were not surprising. MVP is definitely the master of TvT.

Can't really count the Dimaga one as 1-0, more like 1-1 since Mvp was probably going to win that game he disconnected.
