Only a handful switched to sc2, the rest retired or plays wc3 for fun, wheras a TON of old bw-players switched to sc2. Of course they are going to do better in GSL if there are a gazillion more of them who have a shot at winning. In europe WC3 was pretty popular, which is why there are a lot of successful former wc3-players in europe. It has nothin to do with the game but with the amount of people playin. Skillwise bw and wc3 players are pretty even in sc2. It's a new game. actually remind tried to qualify for gsl 2. I forgot what his account was, he played a few hundred games of sc2. | ||
