And they aren't autogiving back all passes but instead giving you the next one for no cost???
MLG smelled of douche motives when it first launched it's cs project a few years ago and not that much seems to have changed

So I could write basically anything here. Like for example cheese is delicious, down with bacon. No one will ever find out, and yet I made a statement on the internet. I think Im a freaking genius. Ans since no one will disagree I quite frankly am. What a great day! I'd take cheese over bacon any day. I'm more of a ham person. bacon is ham:< From wikipedia: Bacon is distinguished from salt pork and ham by differences in the brine (or dry packing).

Why can't they just stream them? Or cast from replays of the multitude of games already played? Any reason why? I genuinely don't understand if there are technical reasons that would make this impossible.

They have to pay that rate for a contract period... For MLG is it worth it to buy a giant pipe and pay several thousands of dollars a month and then might not use it at all? Again it sucks, but it really is a fine line of what the hell do you do.... It's sucks for us, it sucks for MLG. But it's not an easy fix either, they are probably on the call with their ISP and trying to get something worked out, but in the end they probably don't have a big enough pipe to their site. I would love to see the utilization charts on their main routers, I bet it's 100%.. For them to pay to have that increased when they only use that site for a weekend isn't worth it.... It is called an investment, and It would be well worth it as long as they make profit after paying overhead costs and what not, it seems they sold a LOT of season tickets, so chances are the cost would make up the means, and who says they can't host two events in the same city int he year and bring in even more money? To have an event for a few days, it is not worth the investment, I'm sorry it is not. I work for GE and the amount of money some of our sites have to pay for just a bundle of 5 T1s is insane. That is a 7.5 mb up and down connection and that is thousands of dollars a month... I honestly don't know what the traffic hitting that site is, but I think it would need a big pipe...

We have folks working on fixes. Called in outside help. Doing all that we can. half a minute ago via Tweetie for Mac in reply to fethebox (in response to a halo fan). I think the best part is best... "in response to a Halo fan" as if StarCraft the game that requires Internet to work... is less important. @stefancoisson Working hard to have things ironed out for the rest of the day - I apologize for the issues - it's unacceptable. in response to a SC2 fan. The guy just picked the latest tweet from Sunny. LET IT GO, MLG is not singeling out SC2 stuff happens, move on if it upsets you. Life is too freaking short to cry about every thing. This MLG is a terrible experience for you? Fine, fair enough, do not buy or watch MLG again. Complaining on a message board about things that the organizers know is messed up and are trying as hard as they possibly can to fix is just silly. Actually, it's not silly at all. The complaints of the community (as long as they are valid) are what forces an organization to fix their errors and try damn hard to avoid them in the future. Our feedback is important to them, even if at the moment its overwhelmingly negative. Your feedback is important, crying, whining, hyperbole, and flat out insults are NOT. If you can not tell the difference about what I am talking about, and about honest feedback, then there is no help for you. :fake edit: I gave a feedback report to MLG about how very unsatisfied with this experience I am. I got a great reply back that helped to calm my worries. Do you think that even 1/10th of the people insulting MLG care enough, or are even bright enough to give actual feedback?
