I dont understand how anyone can complain about that second game fair enough it wasn't massively entertaining but it would have absolutely stupid if incontrol hadn't have taken that clear opportunity.

Keep in mind that iNcontroL wasn't the only one who used a devilish strategy (and in game two, he didn't even bank on it).

Select cheesed Ret in game one and won the game in five minutes flat, abusing a three bunker full-out wall-in on Shakuras Plateau... and Ret's opening was far less ridiculous than TLO's "It's been ten minutes and I haven't scouted my own base yet" situation.

I didn't really see too many of the earlier games, so I can't comment on how many rushes there were beforehand, but there's absolutely no reason why cheese or any abusive tactic/ opening shouldn't be used. These players are playing in a tournament; they're there to win. It's not nr20. It's not macro-games-only.

I really hope they cast VT.Vibe vs EG.LZGamer. Theres a good bit of drama there because LZ has called out Vibe as a bad player on his stream several times the past 2 weeks. LZ's been a bit bitter that Vibe made it into the NASL and he didnt. Heres hoping the casters will know to hype up that drama

Grubby doing work in the open bracket. I can see him making the top 4. His portion of the bracket isn't exactly the hardest. His toughest opponent will be one of thisisjimmy, zelniq and antimage (whoever makes it through). And I don't see any of them as a super strong challenge to him.

I'd love to see him make pool play. And that win against Inka makes it very possible.

Man it's amazing how much better he's gotten over the last 2 months. I guess he is an esports god for a reason.

Note: If you hate early rush strategies so much, please leave the grown-ups alone and go play something more to your level. Possibly Nexus Wars or Battlecraft. Rush strategies are a legitimate part of any RTS game and should not, under any circumstances, be frowned upon. TLO lost that game, and INcontroL knew it when he basically apologized for winning with that in base 4Gate. Hopefully TLO learned something from INcontroL and will be a better player for it.

FYI MLG will put the day's stream on a repeating loop until it starts up again tomorrow (at least, that's what they have done in the past, and what it seems to be now, showing a Tyler v Machine game that's already been played...
