Can we please get some satire racist names for Z P and T? I enjoy comedy that mocks negative social sterotypes.

I see people whining about how people get wins. It's not really relevant.

There is a resource you hear day9 talk about in his early podcasts, before the dailies got started. I guarantee any player that is climbing his way to the top has considered this resource. You see it in players like morrow, july, inc and select. They are playing the game to win. They aren't playing show matches. They are playing to win, and if you enjoy watching players do everything they can to win, you will like their games. It's just how competition works in this environment. If you read even part of that, your enjoyment of the game will go up.

how is destiny doing still 1-1?

Anyway, there's plenty of skill in knowing when to proxy pylon. and still it was nothing but a boring lucky win. pretty sure incontrol will tell you the same. i call mechanics, tactics and nice decision making skill. if you think "im gonna proxy and hope he doesnt see it" skill then fine. dont wanna shit on anyone. but if you enjoy a game like that then... dunno... you enjoy any sc2 game no matter what happens? :>
If you want to point a finger at a pro for robbing fans of an entertaining game, look at TLO for not scouting his base; not going for a free win handed to you on a silver platter is sand bagging.

Still can't believe Greg is 20. I mean it explains a lot thus makes a lot of sense, but i just figured he'd be 25 or something. With you there... Fuck, I'm about to turn 27. have 9 months till i turn 26. yay! 9month buffer bfeore i really go towards the evil 30 :D
So every 4gate is a lucky win?
TLO SCOUTED the 4gate and STILL LOST.
There is no excuse, he was totally outplayed from an advantageous position.

Sorry but I don't think you get it. Look at the timings. InControl scouted a no-gas fast expand build. As a protoss, you have two choices:
A) go into a macro game, way way behind B) just go fucking kill him
Choosing option B there isn't cheesy, even if Incontrol is manner enough to say otherwise. TLO chose a risky build, failed to scout the pylon (even after seeing 4 gates :O) and got punished appropriately.

cruncher vs optikzero in obr4 after cruncher beat fenix, should be good match.

Mmm it would have been exciting had TLO gotten that ghost out or something, and there was a chance to see some crazy micro hold it off, but as soon as inc dropped two forcefields to prevent the SCV surround, I tuned out.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I don't fault inc for taking advantage of it whatsoever, but I was VERY excited for the matchup and seeing a whole 14 minutes of gaming between two games really deflated that hopeballoon.

Cheese would be completly all in where if it fails you are at a huge loss. ninja pylons just give you a way to take advantage of lazy scouting. but its only 100 mins. Game 1 wasnt an all in you can make probes for an later expansion from 1 star +2gates. Game 2 was all in, he dropped the 4th gate. He either cut probe or he didnt make use of the 4th gate, he used a lot of waves of warp ins so he had to keep building pylons, cant see how he didnt stop probe production. He had 3 gates and a stargate. It was all in.
If he really did have the 3rd gate then you're right. I only noticed 2 gates and someone else in this thread said 2gate+SG all in. But since you're poiting out there was a 3rd gate you're right. =D My bad.
Still don't think all in = cheese. When you see your enemy going something greedy the proper response several times can be an all in. Cheese for me is cnanon rush, proxy rax. Just a personal view tho.

it's tournament play ffs
you aren't doing yourself any favors if you try to force 40 minute macro games every time for the sake of those of you who get a hard on for macro games.
if you go for macro all the time you are going to drain yourself, mentally and physically, if those games actually go longer and/or you open yourself up to be vulnerable to cheesy or aggressive play by your opponent
you should do whatever it takes to win.....short games are just as exciting to me as longer ones....stop crying and enjoy the damn games
I feel sorry for you if you think that TLO vs InControl series was exciting.
I don't blame someone for doing whatever they can to win. I do blame the game. It is not exciting and it is irritating. It costs almost nothing to attempt cheeses like that and the potential reward is a free win off a single stupid mistake. If you like that then have fun watching, but I lose any desire to watch sc2 games every time I see it happen.

Oh good God people! If the players don't sit back and macro until 4 bases it's "cheese" and "all-in" apparently. Geoff saw an opening and took it.

what wait? is this a rebroadcast? or are they doing more games?

Kawaiirice vs StrifeCro tomorrow in the round 4. Gonna be interesting.
