Why is there a GSL WC RO16? July vs Nada? Isn't that country kill?

An idea?

The brackets were sorted, so some foreigners ended up facing each other, so did some koreans.
No pain, no gain!

All 16 players drew numbers to be randomly placed in a bracket.

Link is here:
http://www.gomtv.net/2011championship/vod/63765

It just so happen that there will be only 1 foreigner match and one Korean match.
I was the 5% that voted for thorzain in the TSL for round 1

WoW, one day of GSL thread has 9,000 replies and the NASL Players thread's been going on forever and only has 3,000 replies. Talk about comparison to GSL.

Not a fair comparison, the LR threads always have way more posts than the other threads regarding tournaments. I'm sure the ones for the NASL will be much closer.

Talk about comparing a player LIST to actual games...

Dimaga is awesome at ZvZ, and I think if he had been more familiar with Terminus RE he probably would have gone for the same build Nestea did. Going for banelings quickly is good and actually necessary 90% of the time, the other 10% being gigantic maps with naturals very close to the main ramp, i.e. Terminus RE. It is not on ladder and he probably hasn't been able to play it much. Nestea basically had a build order win. Fast roaches on a map where the natural is very near the main and the rush distances are HUGE definitely beats the baneling build.

I don't think nestea "made Dimaga look like a random zerg" or anything like that. People just always say that when somebody beats somebody else without actually thinking about the situation. He definitely outplayed him, but I think it was only because of the reasons I stated.

Embarassed to say that after Jinro lost I didn't think Dimaga could do anything and went to bed. MAN those were some great games. Too bad about the MVP d/c but I think Dimaga would've lost that if it had gone on.

Why did that game have to disconnect? That was such an awesome game, and great comeback by MVP...even though I was hoping for Dimaga, there's no way MVP could have lost that game, so I feel bad for him.

Awesome series though, lots of great games.

That wasn't anywhere close to a random fast roach build order loss.
