There could be some merit to replace some players on the team but nothing you can do about the system. Heck I'd even argue that the team selection for the World Championship was somewhat disappointing and we didn't get some of the best players ourselves due to mainly MLG Dallas conflict.

While I love July, he hasn't been impressive at all, and San is solid but not spectacularly good. Ryung's TvT and TvP are both extremely solid, and Min is just a macro monster with a good head for strategy. Both just qualified for Code A, btw. I don't think half of the guys on this list could do that (although, a good amount of luck is involved due to the inherent volatility of the game). :D July gets on people's heads, he is an agressivee yet very unpredictable player that produces results, he is definetely top 4 in Korea when it comes to televized matches.

Knocked to Up/Downs, gets totally schooled by Rainbow in the GSTL, and also got schooled by Alive in the first GSTL. Then he goes and looks terrible against Sen. At least MVP showed very strong matches in the recent GSTL. And MVP is in code A.

And yea, it's seriously ridiculous to listen all this korea fanboys from people who came into sc with sc2. In BW it was completely different situation, koreans were monsters and no one could touch them. Now they are just in the top with other top gamers from around the world. Only difference is in their eyes.

I agree mvp had some decent games in GTSL though. One 2-0 against Leenock was pretty much the only thing I saw out of MKP. MVP lost to some really good Protoss players, and he made up for it pretty well in the GSTL showing that he can play a very strong game against Tester and almost bringing it all back for IM against SlayerS.

It seems like we have been brainwashed by Artosis/IdrA etc saying how amazing Koreans are on a daily basis. When you have i think 3+ world players not showing up for preliminaries and let players have a walk on, what do you expect? Edit: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2011_GSL_World_Championship/Preliminaries Link to show that the "world" players didn't care getting the strongest team to play in korea by not showing up.

I'd be to bold to say that it doesn't make any sense to argue if one country is better than the other... Obviously korea has the biggest scene right now, and US has the second biggest by quite a bit. If you wanna argue what country has the better players at least set some kind of definition. You mean a best top4? top8? top1? :s
