Exactly
know little about sc - woo woo more knowledgeable - wtf?!

Adelscott played sick, showing the power of gateway units to the terrans.
However, saying lag from EU to NA and KR to NA is just non-sense... You can play from EU on NA with pretty much very subtle lag that you can ignore, but you'll average 300~400 ms and spike up to as high as 1000 ms from time to time from KR.

korea <-> usa connection is whole different than eu <-> usa connection.
ever watched sotg? idra lagged out all the time from korea. also he said if he connects to korea server from usa, he has no chance to beat any good player because micro is impossible due to lag.

Lol.... its funny how people can decide one player is better than another based on just one series.

QXC is my favorite underdog. When his micro is ON he is almost unstoppable! Although he does tend to have bad mechanics against TOP Koreans...and sometimes seems to choke and make a frequent mistakes? Still super-fun to watch!

QXC looking for his first win under the FXO tag, hopefully.

fixed it for you
Fairly certain it's both. As with Thorzain vs Fruitdealer, Adelscott had a good strategy and executed it very well, versus MVP not making the decisions he should have and simply not playing at his optimal level. Lag may have affected his general mood, but it was certainly not the sole cause of this loss.

Just compare MVP's reaction time in GSL and then in TSL there is a huge difference...
on playxp forum, YedOrPrime stated he directly heard from mvp that he was suffering from lag really bad, the lag likely goes up and down it's not consistent, however 1sec+ spike(lag) in a battle can mess up the game alot
for instance, losing a reaper to 15 nexus? lol

Are they alternating between NA and KOR server when NA / EU players play against KOR players??? Thank you!!! (a pm would be much appreciated, this thread is quite fast. )

For the people saying lag did only play a minor factor: Lag kills your feeling for the game, making you make bad decisions. Also, I think Adelscott goes for a normally extremely greedy build in the second game, as he knows that MVP can't punish him without micro. Look at how poorly the reaper was microed. Of course you get better upgrades and have superior army if you get a nexus first through without any bigger losses.

There's a new game happening. Enough with the comments about lag.
Sheesh. Go go qxc!

I like how many mistakes in unit control the toss can make and lose all of those armies but easily just comes back anytime the terrran tries to do some economic damage. i really hope something is done in the future, so sick of terran having to do everything 2 steps ahead of a protoss and do it flawlessly to win. spamming W is pretty good.

it's not the first time a korean player lose to a foreigner one, why lag only played a role in those game ? adel is really that bad ? .....

MVP isn't in form. Simple as that. He's been playing sub par recently and the results of this reinforce that. He's still a great player though.

If they played this on lan, MVP would roflstomp him, i'd put heavy $ on that bet. id take that bet, the thing people dont really say is that MVP is out there, he is a known figure and he has TONS of games to study, scot while DAMN good is no where near exposed as MVP so he can not be studied like MVP can back to my point, ill take that bet!
Alright, if they ever play offline, PM me. I'll even give you 2:1 odds.

I just get double ups and get viking ups and go at them

Upsets are what make tournaments exciting
Adel played well even if there was lag, MVP did not play well
gg no re MVP
