Yes they practice hard and they deserve where they are, but they are not God. With enough practice and good play, they can be beaten. Qxc played amazingly there, and as someone else said, Genius reacted time-wise perfectly to the drops, and in the engagements, the EMPs drove his templars back and his army lost to QxCs. I specifically looked for it, in the engagements multiple times, Genius pulled his templars back in fear of EMP. That was why the rest of his army was demolished by QxCs in that small time frame. And also, the rest of the EMPs were great aswell. There is no fetish. No one is saying Koreans are unbeatable. Foreigners can obviously take games off them and they have so far. You cannot deny the fact that Koreans are better and that latency is playing an issue. All the foreigner pros have mentioned it in their pre game interviews. Idra said it, TLO said it, QXC said it. Obviously the lag is affecting them, but I won't take anything away from the foreigners either. What Idra and all the other guys have said that they are better because they practice better in a team house environment. The foreigner players at the moment are forming player houses and practicing in a team environment, similar to how it's done in Korea. So they are catching up, in qxc's case even surpassing them. why would TSL invite koreans, i dont get it, huge lag, zero communication, after watching those games, I dont find why koreans are better than foreign, or it because of lagg, or whatever the reason is...
TSL2 and TSL1 had less lagg issues =/

And neither did Goody, which is why it's a stupid counter game.
I think that in pretty much every RTS, if your opponent has air, and you have no AA., you will loose, counters or not.

But with all honesty, this TSL3's matches have been completely ruined for me by this thread, and all the reactions. Half of me agrees with all the people saying lag is a major factor in the match outcomes, but its so sad to see that this lag issue is causing such a rage that all the foreign players are losing credibility and acknowledgment.
I honestly thought adelscott's build was interesting, considering that he rushed for armor upgrades fast, but I was so disappointed with MVP's plays as well. Reading this thread made me only listen to what was going on in Genius' match so I barely got to see that. I decided to stop reading to watch Nesttea's match, which he absolutely dominated, though with weird trade-offs.
I feel bad for the players who have to participate in this garbage, where their fans are just arguing over lag issues / real or not, thus taking away all their achievements, if any, that were made in this tournament. Then again, if lag is a problem, then the fans do have a full right to argue that.
I wonder what the players themselves have to say about this.
Fanboys are trash, be it Koreans or foreigners.
Just support the game. Dont make excuses for your players, they don't need you to excuse their bad gameplay or to tell everyone else how they totally would have dominated under <any other set of conditions except the one just now which was totally unfair>

I wouldn't quite say that qxc has surpassed them, qxc is a decent player but that second game i feel like has to do with the protoss uncertainty on how to handle harass based bio without warp in templars. Protoss still has to adjust to this as their army just melts to a couple good emp and vikings.

nice gas steal, slow down the mech

Repeated gas steal - thats really good against mech play.

Nestea really dismantling Goody's style.
Edit: nvm >.<

Need to use his mech to control the map. At least control the ground. I don't know, make big tank lines, cut the map in half, put towers and thors everywhere.
