[NASL] Players (final) - Page 215
Forum Index > StarCraft 2 Tournaments |
Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't.

Anyone who knows anything about sc2 knows that Bomber is far better than most of the NASL selections.

+ Show Spoiler + He did apply, but his non-acceptance isn't covered in Xeris' explanation, which seems odd, considering he had already a notable series win under he belt. Was there a bureaucratic reason for his snub, or was it just a value-judgment that was made?

it just seems like it now because he looks so good. I'm sure the guys at NASL are kicking themselves for not picking him. but no worry.. theres plenty of good players that'll just have to wait for next season.

Was there a bureaucratic reason for his snub, or was it just a value-judgment that was made? Its a little cheap to come up with that now after he beat Tyler. Why not earlier? Thorzain is a very good player, skill-wise he definitely would belong in NASL. Personally I would prefer him over some other players in the league. That said, he has not had many results before the invite. Basically only the one TSL qualifier win. As much as Zeerax for example, and less than many others that are not in NASL. And the threshold for EU players was somewhat higher than for NA players. He could have played more tournaments and made more of a name for himself. Bu he didnt so its kind of his own fault imo.

Yeah, I think he's really busy with studies at a university so he's not really playing in tournaments very often. He has very little tournament results because of this. His play in TSL3 is certainly exceptional, but a Bo3 and a Bo5 (5 games total) is not representative of a player's entire skill.

And I think the reason they didn't invite him would be along the same reasoning as not inviting NightEnd, which was because of some visa issue I believe.

Clicking on "Full Schedule" reveals details of today's matches. Seems like a minor bug for the "Upcoming Matches" filtering code?
