nice lineup, will be a great cast i guess :D
Certainly hope so
Apparently there'll be a russian stream as well: http://www.goodgame.ru/ At least it's listed on the website, so I suppose they'll stream the cup as well.

hm TLO vs. Mana should be pretty interesting for a first round match :D

haha patchzMorroW =) Anyway impressive lineup, even all the first round matches should be really good!
ill be commentating this event aswell on my stream in english
Khaldor your German commentary is much better than your English one. Thats why I personally would much prefer if you did it in German.

How did I guess you are from Germany! Trying to hog Khaldor all for yourself!

There is already a german livestream, so I'm doing the english one. I commentated on that issue in my last YouTube Announcement on the german channel as well. Although today I'll stick to english the weekend's stream (JustinTV Invitational) will be in german
Cheers, Khaldor

I'm glad you're casting in English. All the Germans want you for themselves. How selfish .

Nice EU lineup, I'll definitely tune in.

oh wow sick lineup. will definitely tune in for this
all matches are awesome and should be streamed, damn
Socke-Kas should be SICK!
Also - what is "patchz"morrow? and "POL"mana? Did they leave mouz?
No, afaik they didn't. Morrow just has this in front of his name sometimes, don't know why. And POL is simply Poland I guess.

No, I'll use Own3d again, as usual

the exact same match will look so differently in 1.3 :D
Will the whole cup be played tonight?
On March 17 2011 03:33 TBO wrote: the exact same match will look so differently in 1.3 :D
a bit, not too much as you might think^^
actually, its pretty idiotic to go for BC's vs 3-3 upgrade massgate style... stalker counter them very well.
On March 17 2011 03:34 Bagi wrote: Will the whole cup be played tonight?
yes i think so
yeah no more hts will be built ever. this will no doubt increase the quality of games. : |
unfortunately i tuned in too late and missed the majority of this game but what i saw was awesome.
Was it the first game between Mana and TLO you are talking about (BC and Nukes)? I just tuned in.
Sexy ZvP in the second game
what an EPIC series between mana and tlo^^
Awesome cast as always! It's so much fun with you Khaldor!
And really great game between Mana and TLO!
Mana didn't micro his phoenixes well, but TLO's final attack looked really sexy. Nice match.
well, even perfect phenix micro wouldnt have changed anything at that point. he handeled the mutalisk harass too bad, but its rly hard to do if you go for robotech
I just love Khaldors casting even if he do German or English its always amazing! <3 this tourney
Awesome casts! (you should cast NASL imo)
Are replays going to be posted?
omg this is great tournament, i didnt have a clue that there is something to watch this evening, and now this pops out, and there is even Beasty in, fantastic !! TY Khaldor <3

Endrey is covering the Beasty vs Dimaga series (once Dimaga finishes up a bo1 for another tournament), currently 1-0 for Dimaga after a perfect ling/bling/muta counter on Beasty's attempted push.
Amazing line up for this
ty Asha, now i turned on both (Endrey and Khaldor)
ZvP is just ugly to watch.
although TLO lost the games between mana and him were really entertaining
Is there a bracket for this?
Thanks I just found it. Apparently I can't read. -_-
Really bad positioning from TLO in the last battle. He had great positioning in the first battle. Also, I really didn't like his drop, unless he wanted to clear supply for broodlords, but he didn't make any. He should have dropped Mana's fourth at the same time at least.
Why does it say patchzMorroW? Old clan or something?
gogo MaNa and Tefel! thx for stream Khaldor!
Why is both the streamers in the same game? They're even the same language. Seems to be a waste.

both players with a weak performance, nevertheless the games were entertaining.

Ouch 2 drones left for dimaga.
Ah there is a chat.
*going there*

Kas 2-0'd Socke already?
What a beast. Hope we get to see some of his play.

Makes a bit more sense to talk about the tournament in the actual tournament thread imo
Dimaga really getting shafted with the positions on Meta, particularly after what happened on Pawn Re. Anyway, he's going speedling expand, Hasu setting up 3gate currently, drops a forge, 4th gate, and expands.
Hasu pushed really soon after getting the expansion up and with no real idea of what he was facing, got aboslutely crushed. Seemed a bit of an odd choice tbh
why didn't hasu scout before pushing : |

This, one hallucinated Zealot less against scouting with a Phoenix first and being safe against that (a VERY common Zerg tactic).
also why even hallucinate zealots when you could have 2 more force fields instead
do you think it's possible he missclicked and wanted a phoenix instead and then just thought fuck it let's go?

Pretty terrible series lol xD
Hasu takes it 2-1, proxy voidrays vs ling runby. Dimaga doesn't get enough done with the lings to counter the Voidrays cleaning up his Nat and most of his main. Tries desperately to hold with 5 spore crawlers and 9 last ditch hydras but it makes no difference.
is there any possibilities to get replays of this turnament?

TLO has been on a bad losing streak recently. Hopefully, he'll end it at the TSL3 match between Nada and him.

Kas vs Hasu starting on Endrey in a second, it should be pretty awesome.
SjoW vs DarkForce on german stream.
After watching Kas against Hasuobs, I think he is one of the players I'm most excited about seeing in TSL3.

I would rank him as the best TvP player in Europe, I don't remember the last time he lost against a protoss in a tournament. To bad he won't face any protoss in TSL until Genius and that is only if Genius beats MVP.

Kas just stomping through the bracket so far. The guy is a monster, really looking forward to seeing how his match with Haypro goes.
Kind of would like to see a TvZ finals, and it would be nice to have DarkForce turning in a good result since he's been quiet of late. That said I'm a huge Sjow fan and Sjow vs Kas in a TvT wouldn't be all that bad either =)

kas has been monster for a LONG time.. I think it's pretty impossible for Haypro to beat him, in my bracket contest I also gave him win against nada even though it's kas' weakest MU. Just check his TLPD stats man..

Actually i would agree that kas will win against haypro he IS a monster indeed

I'm well aware of quite how good Kas is, just commenting on quite how impressive his performance has been tonight.
Sjow straight up killing Darkforce with a big marine drop.
So we've got a Kas vs Sjow final =)
sjow and Kas for NASL!! Both very strong terrans. Stronger terrans than any other NA !! So much solid play
SjoW decided to go for it as he killed the Spawning Pool which meant that DarkForce couldn't build any units as he only had a baneling lair.

I don't know man, he's 86-37 in TvZ. But yea, it's definitely not impossible, especially as it will be BO3. I'd say 3:1 odds.
Kas and Sjow seem very evenly matched.

Entertaining first game, Xel Naga always makes for really interesting TvT's what with the whole positioning aspect of the match up and the multiple attack paths present on the map.
I just cant freaking believe how good Kas is o_8
amazing back and forth TvT
is finals bo3 or bo5 ?
edit: ahhh I see it's bo3
edit2: lol it IS bo5 :DDD

Kas can do no wrong tonight, just dominating everyone

Kas is showing again that he is the best terran outside of Korea (in my opinion).

Wowow Kas, 3-0'ing Sjow in a TvT is no easy feat.
Beating Socke, Tefel, Hasu and Sjow without dropping a single game. Seems to be in fine form.
Very fun cup to watch, lots of great games =)

A very valid opinion.

Kas looks damn impressing, deserved 1st. DarkForce placing 3rd is nice as well.
And really beautiful cup, good coverage and some pretty epic games. Thumbs up.

this! hasu, socke and sjow were snacks..come on. he HAS to be the best terran in europe... and unfortunately hes so underrated and nice to see darkforce is back to business

Will be a big loss if we don't see Kas in NASL.
I wonder if what Strelok said in his app video is true - that his team management is poor, and he doesn't get into the big events because of it. Such a waste.

Unfortunately it seems like he wont go to NASL, at least I have seen no application video of him. That is either bad management on his side or stupidity on NASLs side who didnt send an invite (or both). In any case it would be a shame if he would not participate.
