Although Boxer played game 3 very well with what little he had,he wasted a lot of units trying to kill hatcheries.For example he keeps sending like 6 rines each time to try and snipe the hatcheries when it would be probably better to kill the drones,in the end,the rines get cleaned up and nothing was done. ALso,.Boxer always mass stimmed his rines,which made rines ineffective vs the mass muta cloud during the actual battle.

Nada is 26 and July is 24. They're younger than a lot of people think they are.

Boxer is 30, has a wife and is managing a team. It would be hard for anyone to stay in top shape under those circumstances.

Was totally gutting to see BoxeR eliminated in such an epic game, I kept clutching at hope that there'd be a fairytale come from behind win, but at least he went down in style!

I wonder what this will do for his motivation for Starcraft 2, will it motivate him even more to get back to Code S? I hope so. He is a pretty important figure for the Korean sc2 scene.

was about time boxer went out. Sure it's a great icon and probably good for e-sports in general but his play has been below quality a long time compared to the rest.
Icons are great for the sport but they only deserver the top level if they are so, boxer isn't atm. Not to say he can't come back as I don't believe in the age restriction that much but he will have to train harder.

That's because Boxer had 5 factories, while MKP had 7. Two more factories give you a lot of tanks.
Also, MKP was far ahead in economy during that game. So he can afford to make more thors and tanks.

I don't know if boxer has what it takes to be a good coach actually. He doesn't seem to be strategically good in sc2. I'm not sure if his ton of experience alone is enough for him to be a good coach.

Perhaps a bit frustrating that boxer's sc2 future can be so easily affected by one bo3, but I guess that's the way it goes.

Ideally this will encourage him to practice hard for TSL3 or maybe even turn some attention to NASL, dreamhack or MLG.

Was it only me or was tastosis really bad today? I just watched the first game of Fruitdealer vs Virus.

They just pretty much talked bullshit throughout the whole game. They didnt see or mention anything abt that nice kill on the SCV that fruitdealer did on the rightmost side expansion with the backdoor zerglings. And they mentioned the third Hatchery so late. Are they even looking at the game? I think they should stop talking bs all the time and look at the friggin game instead. Times like these I wonder why they are even casting these games that are supposed to be of the highest level in the world...

Boxer seems to carry his BW strenghts and weaknesses to SC2 : insane micro, strong decision making, great harass, poor macro and general economy management.

Epic epic 3rd game though, but I guess I'm being mr Obvious here

last game of boxer/zenio was great, tough break for him though dropping to code A. Going to be a tough rode back with the rising level of code A, gl to boxer though.

I'm just going to come out and say it, Boxer is like a poor man's MarineKing (oh the irony), at least in SC2. Both have huge levels of style and creativity (MKP does do custom builds as well) that often open big and fail to deliver, both have very strong micro (but MKP has also shown strong macro), both tend to lean toward aggression, and both have propensity to open cheesy.

I'm sad to see Boxer go down, but he was honestly never really code S material. He got there off a TvT run in season 2, and then managed to take a few games off people in season 4. Never saw anything spectacular from him.
On another note, I'm really suprised Virus got in over Ace
