You've really opened up my eyes toward the game and exposed a new truth I never knew existed. *this is for Dunc* - heyy that was "sarcasm". Just-so-you-don't-get-confused. bro! Sad thing is i too thought your post was serious. The forums are just riddled with that kind of zerg deafeatism.

You don't just say stupid shit that mimics actual stupid shit that lots of people sincerely spew all the time, and then laugh at people that get mad at you because you were being "sarcastic". Doesn't work like that.

![]() ![]() I really hope boxer can comeback to code-s soon. Maybe he shoud've just cooled down the aggression a bit and taken an expansion, and comeback strong.

Maybe he is getting older now and his reflexes and mechanics aren't as good as they were? Maybe he doesn't practice as hard because of his age and other commitments? Maybe, but you can still see his prowess - what he's always been good at, strategy, drops and micro, amongst the best, if not the best. It didn't pay off. It's a different game, a broke game, that does not reward a player of his calibre.

Kinda sad that Boxer lost, but I really liked his fake proxy. Just that I kinda thought it was kind of stale after awhile. After all, it's only purpose was to psych Zenio out and by the third game I think Zenio had it figured out that Boxer would fake a proxy. But really loved the fact that Boxer's a fighter man.

He came back and beat Nada and Jinro in base trades, and took a hidden gold against Jinro. Dude is a total baller. TBH I feel like most base trades involve a lot more luck than skill. It's all about being lucky enough to scout the right way. If a player is lucky enough, then suddenly crazy gamble decisions become great decisions, and if the player is unlucky enough to get something critical scouted, suddenly the crazy gamble decision becomes a terrible decision.

MKP's games sometimes resemble shoving square blocks into a round hole - only that his marine splits make it slightly likelier. absolutely wrong. MKP has extremely good decision-making and tactics. HE was the one who popularized 2rax WHICH became a build which all terrans used for the whole month after. Also his builds seem 'abusive', but it's because he really understand the game and timings very well. And decision making... did you see how he won his base trades against Nada and Jinro? Esp against Nada where he had basically no chance of winning.

You said, and I quote, "something must be broken with the game because he is one of the greatest and smartest starcraft players" - your logic is saying that he should automatically become code S because of his reputation and past history. You can clearly see that he is not up-to-par with code S standards. His economy management is not the best (high OC energy, poor scv saturation). At points in time, you can see that he has FOUR siege tanks queued up in 1 factory and 4-5 rax queued up in 1 baracks, etc. He is a good player but the better player won today and, therefore, he is in code A. There is nothing 'hard' to understand about it or 'broken' with the game.

Zenio plays amazing for the first 10 minutes of his games and then seems to slip with controlling units while macroing and then making bad decisions or not getting the right unit compositions. a few more banelings and/or upgrades and less mutas woulda won him those last 2 games with ease.
