Don't understand this forum sometimes. Cocky? Jesus. It must be tough to be one of your friends. The only bit cocky about him is that he expects himself to win and thinks that he is good enough to have that expectation.

Anyway. Huk Hwaiting!

I don't mind Huks cockiness, but I think he got extremely lucky to get his Code S-spot.

Code S means a LOT, and Huk got relatively easy drawings every single time, lost to everyone he faced there were good, Losira and Inca, but still got into Code S somehow.

I fully expect him to get manhandled in his first Code S match, but kudos to him for making it at least. Hope he can step his game up, as it is lacking in several aspects.

He'd make a great TvP training partner for Jinro Im sure.

Tall Poppy Syndrome

This is pretty much my only explanation for why people are such haters. Code S in first season is impressive, given how nerve-wracking and difficult those games must've been (regardless of whether people think Choya, Revival, Curious are difficult opponents, although surely everyone who is in GSL is quality just due to the brutal nature of the qualification process...)

Huk is good enough for code s, he might not win vs guys like nestea but hes definetely good enough.

Huk is not good enough for code s. What's the point of being in code s if you're not in it to win it? He had trouble vs mediocre code a players. Everytime a foreigner loses it's because he "got a bad draw". What do you expect? To make it to the round of 8 by beating baddies? You're eventually gonna run into good players no matter what.

They need to do something about how stacked this was...

Group A was a joke compared to B. Leenock deserves Code S just as much as Inca or Huk

Next season Leenock should finish in the finals of Code A so he can pick his own opponents.

Blame MarineKingPrime and Nestea for losing, rather than the system, which is actually pretty good.

At the same time, NesTea and MKP are a thousand times more worthy (based on their past GSL records) of staying in Code S. But yeah, it sucks getting put in a bracket with two of the best (and winningest) players in all of the GSL series.

Huk had to go through Code A players like the rest of the people coming up, and he eventually made it. So yes I would say he is indeed a Code S player. You can be in Code S, and not win it. You think, and no offense to the players about to be listed, players like Rain, Anypro, Lyn have a good chance at actually winning Code S? They are still Code S players, just doesn't mean they will win it all, even though their intent is to win it. And even they have a small chance since SC2 is still so volatile and so dependent on good scouting. But that's another topic.

Is it just me or did Huk have a really easy way into the code S?

Did he defeat anyone strong, ever?

Uh, it's pretty clear from the games that Choya and Inca are easily top 2 control in the world.

He had probably the hardest group.

...So Huk's group was harder than both Nestea and MKP? Wow, gonna have to disagree hard.

It kinda puzzles me why everyone's fighting and argueing in this thread...
You may not like Huk, you may be sad about other results or whatever, but that's just how the tournament works.

Some players make it in, some don't.

There's some luck involved, but no system can prevent that, unless you have the time and luxury to actually play a championship where every player faces every player several times. And I've never seen any eSports event work like that.
You see what happens, Larry? You see what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass?
