That's just not true, he achieved a lot outside of korea and is now giving his best in GSL, but that's just hard for any foreigner. I mean, except for IdrA and Jinro, i can't recall any foreigner movin into Code S yet. And I wouldn't say that he had the easiest path. I mean, with all due respect, the other foreigners in Code A didn't even make it to Ro16 (and their opponents were no legends too), but nobody ever started callin Ret or mOOnGlaDe weak (because, like huk, they aren't). HuK is a really good player, and I'm sure, in sometime the "curse" on the foreigners will be broken and then they may be a bit more relaxed when playin against koreans. And that's one of the main points why korean players are considered stronger: Because all of us believe so. So start supporting the "underdogs", even if they got a bit of attitude goin on. He made it to Code S, let's all hope for the best, he got some skills, and I believe in them. tlo

Uh, it's pretty clear from the games that Choya and Inca are easily top 2 control in the world. He had probably the hardest group. User was temp banned for this post.

His play really was not strong and didn't seem code s material. Well, at least Mkp and nestea stay in code s. Agreed.

His play really was not strong and didn't seem code s material. Well, at least Mkp and nestea stay in code s. I'm not sure how I feel about this. HuK had some weird games in code A, only played PvZ, and every time he lost, it seemed to be for the same two reasons: Bad decision making with his standard early zealot/sentry push, in which he lost too many sentries; or losing to a quick roach allin. Certainly it is a weakness in his play to lose a bunch of times for the same reason, but I don't know if it makes him a weak player. (Also, I don't think anybody can say that losing to LosirA makes you weak, just human, since LosirA crushes all in his path, apparently.) Personally, I think that with his resources at the oGs house and work ethic, he'll have corrected those flaws in his play by next season. As for MKP, he feels to me like a strong TvT player but a weak everything else player. His path through the January GSL saw him in mostly TvTs - the only non-Terran he had to beat was Legalmind (lololol). In GSL 3, he did beat Monster and Leenock, but Leenock isn't quite Code S material, and Monster did not appear in the GSL prior and has not appeared since.

Reminds me of White-Ra also hating on "korean style" or "GSL style". Since everyone can bunker rush, why don't more people rush to the thousands of dollars worth of prize money?

I think what people don't like about him is he's really cocky, and has little to back his claims of superiority. Compare him with Jinro, who's accomplished so much more but also is way more humble, and you'll have your answer in my opinion. IdrA is cocky too, but his accomplishments in both Broodwar and SC2 make that a little more bearable in my eyes.
