Some of you may recall the Fubusama.com KOTH that I hosted a few weeks back. Well, since then, the same sponsors have continued to approach me about continuing to bring awesome content to the Starcraft community, and this is the next event on the docket!
First and foremost, our sponsor:
sc2rakeback.com is a strong supporter of the eSports and Starcraft 2 Community. They sponsor events and streams to help push eSports forward in North America.
Catz and TLO, two of the most exciting players in Starcraft II, will be playing in a best of 5 series. The winner takes home $150, and the loser gets $50 for allowing us to host such a cool showmatch.
The games will be cast from replays on Friday, March 18th at 6PM PST, 9PM EST.
THIS PART IS IMPORTANT
sc2rakeback is also going to give away $100 to one of the live viewers of the event. Here's how you can qualify:
<3 <3 Huge thanks to sc2rakeback.com for sponsoring this whole deal, huge thanks to TLO and Catz for playing, and an extra huge thanks to all you guys for making the Starcraft community so damn awesome.
Too bad it's so late, but at least it's friday so I might tune in. TLO seems to play a lot of terran lately so I'm curious what he'll pick this match. Exciting matchup!

Zerg is the TLO of CatZ
According to Catz's NASL video application, he says that if LzGamer claims to be the Catz of Terran, then he can say "without hesitation... and honestly" that he himself is the Catz of Zerg.
Then again, I might be missing the sarcasm here. That's what I get for pulling an all-nighter.
YESSS! My to favorite players to watch play. It is going to be kind of weird though, mostly they exploit the predictability of their opponents so it may be two unstoppable forces colliding with neither having any idea what the other is going to do :D It should be fun at the very least! I'll watch for sure.
I really like TLO's play style, but recently he hasn't really been playing his best. At least in the games I have seen. I think Catz has the advantage, but I am rooting for TLO!

Well if TLO plays T I doubt we will see proxy hatches as they are really only strong against protoss (in particular against forge first protoss).
Anyway looking forward to it, even if it is a bit late.
I'm really looking forward to this showmatch, but I'm a bit confused after visiting the sponsor's website. What does poker have to do with starcraft 2?
MrBitter, you failed on covering up the replays. there is 3 replays with the same date than the other 2 are from February .. so we know the results before they are played.
TLO rolled over CatZ 3-0. TLO used almost exclusively mech play and CatZ had no response. TLO opened the first two games with extremely effective Hellion harass and put CatZ at an economic disadvantage that was far too great to overcome. The third game was a very anti-climatic last game with TLO cheesing with a 2 rax-bunker rush. CatZ's didn't pull his drones fast enough and lost. Very sad match :[

Going double rax then getting bunkers at a Zerg's natural is not an all in, other than that good summary.
