Ling/bling is so easier to execute relative to the Terran trying to spread his marines and protect his tanks from Muta harrass while making sure his base is safe from Mutas while trying to expand and while getting ready to push. Even writing that makes me tired. Terran has to play perfect to stand against a Zerg in a macro game. July's mistake was not getting hive tech or infestors. Ling/Bling is good and will kill most Terrans <20 min into the game unless Zerg makes huge micro mistakes, but once Terran gets upgrades and enough tanks, it will not work without Ultras or infestors. I have played Zerg for about 300 games before switching to Terran. I could 1-a most Diamond Terrans 5 months ago with my terrible skill with muta/ling/bling. Doing that with Terran is much harder. You need to be aware of the zerg force's position, so you can siege up your tanks. In engagements, you should try to blow up as much banelings as possible while taking out lings and mutas. You need to keep expanding versus a very mobile army which can be anywhere in any second. Think no matter what, but Terran is at the backfoot in TvZ, just like Protoss in PvT until higher tech comes into play. | ||
