Honestly, I feel like NASL has already done something big for the SCII community by forcing so many of the top players to put out a video, just talking about Starcraft and themselves. Yes, we're familiar with some of the biggest names in interviews, podcasts or when they're guest-casting on some stream... But from this thread alone, I feel like I've learned something about a lot of good players I've often seen on streams and in tournaments before. So, just in the sense of giving a "face" to many of the player names we've all seen so often in-game before, this NASL video application thing has already worked beautifully. Kudos, guys.

Agreed, although just from a marketing NASL perspective, this whole thing was genius, without even considering the possibly unintended positive repercussions. Starting to realise how many fantastic players there are in the foreigner community, this is going to be a great tournament and I hope that there is enough spots for veterans like Artosis and Grubby, as well as a few spots for up-and-comers. There will definitely be some qq on these forums!~

Top 10 terran in europe = on average top 30 player in europe Then you have NA, and other communities who want fair representation. I don't think that you can say top 10 of your race in your region is good enough tbh....we shall see though! I have no opinion about it though

I have no opinion about it though Goody dosnt get the respect in the community he deserves imo. look at the guys achievements, and tell me 50 players that are more worthy of competing in the NASL, i doubt you can. hes also in todays final of go4sc2 and is 2-0 against SaSe atm.

Mmm you may be right, I have never really seen him in a tournament and I can't comment, but there are guys without the achievements who I think deserve a spot for other reasons (Haypro, Artosis, Grubby, et al)

A while back i was "stalking" the profile of my fellow countryman ZeeRax. At one point he had sth like 10 games in a row against MadFrog, the next day some more, the next day again and so on. The results did not show a clear favorite - ZeeRax was ahead by 1-2 games, if i remember correctly. That's what i'd call "rivals". Again, i may be mistaken.
