Nothing really excuses his poor performance tonight but he is, deservingly, a Code S player. Still, this was the worst series ever. Actually, Tester made round of 8 ONCE, failed to qualify for GSL2 and 3, and made Round of 16 last season (and this now). I feel that that is deep. He was beat by MVP in last season 3-0 and Rainbow in GSL 1. He failed to qualify for 2 and 3 yes. Round of 16 this time - say what you want about the quality of his opponent but those are deep rounds. I mean, look at Idra, a great player - a top 3 Zerg (arguably?) and his GSL runs are no more impressive. There are tons of good players who don't win, it's a tournament. I've 100% believed that Idra is by far the worst Code S zerg for the longest time. I honestly don't know how he gets lucky breaks so often, he has the worst reactionary play of anyone and does the same thing every game. It's really sad because his macro and micro is great. Ok, you've lost all credibility. If you think he's worse than Zenio, Thewind or Check... Idk what to say honestly.

Why does the way Artosis said 'That's hilarious' then make me think the exact opposite?

10 minutes and nothing happened yet. *yawn*

Lyn was doing so good in the first game, slipping big time in this game.

Fruitdealer, Tester, etc. just either can't or won't keep up. A broad generalization with cherry-picked "evidence". Nestea and MC can also be considered "first-generation" considering they were around in the first GSL as well. Also, SanZenith. I don't see them failing. Sure, Nestea got taken out early, but that doesn't mean anything. FD is a a great player who's had some poor showings in the last 2 GSLs, but he's innovative and I'm sure we haven't seen the last of him. Statements like these make them sound like they're getting completely destroyed in their games and make platinum-level mistakes all the time. I meant the first generation of SC2 beta players more than "GSL players". Fruit, Tester, Rainbow, and others all have had great showings but the comparably newer players are just consistently beating them. When I say they're past their prime I'm saying they're losing to better players. It happened consistently in BW and it will happen in SC2 as well. The old guard is changing. All 3 FD, SKS and ITR were from other teams and moved to TSL after GSL1, maybe TSL is not managing to work their talents well. FD and SKS were both from oGs on season 1, dont remember Rainbow (ITR/Hope_torture) team back in GSL1 ITR is not in TSL and never has been... They were together in OGS tho. You're right about ITR on TSL, bad argument by me then. I can change it to "Maybe oGs broke their spirit because they left it!" =D
Haha maybe yea , also I just noticed my previous post looks kinda arrogant , that was so not intended so apologies
