Impressive play by Socke.
Made MKP look like a total scrub, really.

I hate posts like this so much

MKP is 20 times the player Socke is, but grats

why?socke was never in the GSL so how can you be that sure about that?
dont be jealous;) socke is extremely good
but i guess its hard for someone from the netherlands seeing a german cheering :D
kidding.i watch too much soccer i guess...

I'm sorry for my post since it came off harsh, I know Socke is good. I just feel like the playing ground wasn't even but yeah, it's no secret that MarineKing is bad at TvP anyway.

Wish I could speak korean and tell him to make nothing but marauders ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, he'd probably win every TvP with his micro that way.

I think most of the surprises we are seeing is because koreans dont prepare for these matches so the foreign playstyles are completly different and get them out of guard. While most of them are confident and dont prepare Im sure the foreigns spent a huge mount of time learning their playstyle (not specifically for this championship, but overall).

so you actually think socke did "prepare" for MKP??^^

the grid was up for 1 day... im quite sure socke didnt even see more than 1-2 MKP PvTs at all

O dont think he prepared for MKP, but Im sure Socke watched tons of MKP games before. How many Socke games do you think MKP had watched? I guess none.

man... the its r3 in the grid - how could he know who he plays? and do you even know socke? he does not prepare for any not mayor tournament since hes lazy as hell xD

yeah, i think he watched 10 replays of each player he could face in his grid - lolz.

yeah - MKP didnt watch any of Sockes games im sure. so what?

more exuses plz for your korean gods :/

Youre wrong. MKP would have taken the game with his counterpush if he would have hadn't any lags...

No. DTs were there to defend and there weren't enough scans to take out all the DTs. Lag didn't decide that game.

Aha, that explains his messup with his micro at the nat and at the ramp. No I understand it at all.

You know, these kinds of lag lag lag arguments is what'll argue against inviting Koreans to foreign leagues like NASL. It's tiring hearing them repeated page after page in every LP thread between Koreans and foreigners.

Yes really, this is completly my point to not invite koreans. It's not a comparison but just something else. -.-' I think if the earthquake didn't happened, it would be a nice idea to invite koreans but now it's just terrible. You have to play tourneys like GSL World-Championsship. I'm worried about the TSL. : /

Loner 2-1 Cloud? Wow nice redemption for him. Guess Cloud's TvT isn't as amazing as his TvP.

Okay guys really. The lag is a factor, just because you can't visibly see does not mean it isn't effecting the players

Guys, latency only really effects those who use a heavy micro style.. MKP might be one of those players. But if you look at the brackets, and the players names. You will show that this was anyones tournament to begin with. The skill gaps is minimal from worst to best. One mistake from either player and its GG.

Like I said, if you want examples of even playing ground, look at tournaments like IEM or GSL.

It would be nice if someone got some objective KR->NA and EU->NA latency information so we can put the lag debate to rest. Though, from what I've heard, KR->NA has worse latency issues than EU->NA.

In any real-time game, lag is terrible. I remember trying to do well in Counterstrike on laggy servers, and you can't play at all like you usually can.

Oh, and I just watched Check try to micro his banelings against Strelok. There, the lag was incredibly apparent. It was painful to watch.

This I understood, I wanted to know why they didn't show up, they are serious contenders.

Britney is going to town, though.

im pretty sure guys like socke could eaily pick off maps from MKP or other players in lan as well.
