why the hell does MKP 2 base allin every game?

Because Socke's DT's did absurd damage and left him 20 harvesters behind? Come on rofl, you should know as well as anyone that this game has been pretty much done since MKP's counter push didn't kill significant workers

well yeah, he was ahead even after losing the nexus.

still no reason for not building a 3rd orbital to try to come back

Impressive play by Socke.

Lag is definitely very detrimental to MKP. EU->NA is actually quite playable.

KR-US is definitely not unplayable, so lag didn't decide that game. Getting taken off-guard did.

I think most of the surprises we are seeing is because koreans dont prepare for these matches so the foreign playstyles are completly different and get them out of guard. While most of them are confident and dont prepare Im sure the foreigns spent a huge mount of time learning their playstyle (not specifically for this championship, but overall).
No pain, no gain!

It's not unplayable, but there's been constant proof that Korean-US connection can be unstable at times. Never know when a loss is due to lag or to due to skill, which makes watching these tournaments very upsetting.

Although you can't say that lag is the primary game-deciding factor, you also can't say that it isn't a significant factor.

Youre wrong. MKP would have taken the game with his counterpush if he would have hadn't any lags...

Sorry for not updating, I was too busy watching Idra lose to Strelok in two great games that at the very least illustrated the fragility of ZvT.
