Congrats to the two oGs guys taking top two. Seems to be a tradition for FXOpen events to end like that. :lol

Great job all involved, and we've seen some huge names fall, which is always exciting to see. :D

Yeah because you would know that wouldnt you?

The kid went like top 200 with pure mechanism on 3 weeks. He didn't even know creep tumors gave zerg vision for christ sake lol. And from what I saw when ROOT tested him out was that he didn't even use reactors on his raxes lmao. Thats pretty huge, so stop hating.

So two Kr gamers are in finals, why they don't play on Korean server?

For caster's convenience and just for tournament consistency.

Why is casters' convenience a priority???

Without viewers there is no tournament. Also, lots of casters put in just as many hours as the players themselves.

Also what's then stopping everyone from just hopping between servers to play games - do you expect the casters to follow them then? If you let the Koreans do it in the finals why not let people play SEA server round 1, or EU server round 2? What if they do the wrong map or start a game that was meant to be cast because they are on a different server than the admins?

I think playing foreigners in the same conditions they will be participating in TSL and NASL with would actually be beneficial to the players here.

Having said that, in an ideal world we would be hosting similar events on more than one server

I think Strelok was the standout player in this tournament. Very exciting and solid macro games, eventually falling to a code S player 2-3, getting 3rd place.

Well played!

Congrats to all the winners, especially Strelok who stayed up for ages and ages through the night!
Good to see him get PAID.

SeleCT =( Constantly finishes well in this tournament, just missed the money this time!
And good to see the oGs duo overcome this "impossible omgomgomg lag" to make the finals!

Actually im sure he would know considering team ONE already posted in the ROOT thread that invited britney. Team ONE had stated that they took britney in a few MONTHS ago, and taught him the game, giving him help every single day. Then he joined ROOT, and has been there for almost a month already, so why are people constantly saying he has only played for a few weeks?

Second of all, there is a HUGE difference between someone like Strelok who had to spend the first 6 months of the game figuring everything out, learning the timings, what works and what doesnt etc etc, whereas britney didnt have to do ANY of that stuff, and instead has been spoonfed every single build order for all the matchups by other players. In my mind, this is a HUGE difference, and to brag about being new only shows you missed out on all of the hard parts.

Heres the link to where Khyol says Britney was a part of team ONE for a while,.and practiced with them daily before joining ROOT.

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=198519&currentpage=3

Also, some advice would be stop believeing everything Britney tells people, because the only thing consistant with him over the years is his ability to lie. Odds are he's just telling another 1.

Where have you heard that?

hes a former A teamer in BW that recently switched, he has 1month exp in sc2 but years in BW, his mechanics are insane basically
