Kyrix had to deviate from his aggressive play because people started to play defensively and just have extremely cost effective exchanges against his aggression. difference being that jyrix had one trick up his sleeve and it was an aggressive timing and fewer drones up and little follow up. July was stocking gas and building a spire. did not get a ton of banelings until it was clear that he was going to win.

But july was only aggressive after clide had lost a bit too much from that inital counter attack. Clide even did a drop but july had units in his main. July simply had an opportunity and capitalised on it, aggressive style or not it's what any zerg would have done.

Protoss does a mass gateway push/base race, terran does mass drops/base race. July keeps doing mass banelings, which would fail very badly vs siege tanks or force fields but nobody has had those units yet in time.. Well, you'd have FFs, but you hit the nail on the head with the tanks. Brutal timing attack.

Much appreciated in advance ![]() Game 1 - Jinro PDD timing attack, HongUn engages wrong, Jinro wins. Game 2 - HongUn 4gates, Jinro lost some units in an early concussive pressure, can't hold Game 3 - proxy Phoenix screw up all of Jinro's timing and MULES, HongUn basically wins through straight macro afterwards

Much appreciated in advance ![]() Jinro rofl stomped the first game with an early marine, marauder, banshee, raven attack, Hongun 4gated and won easily in g2, Hongun won g3 on xelnaga caverns with a proxy starport for phoenix which kept Jinro off his game the whole time, then Hongun went collossus+templar and steamrolled the gold expo of Jinro and won.
