Well in bw all the Zerg had to do was plop down a few sunkens and there would b no more marine harass, however in sc2 I think spines won't do as well coz they don't do that line splash damage that sunkens do. Also for some reason I don't think they last as long as a sunken would against a small group of marines Sunkens in BW do damage to a single unit each attack yo~~ He probably meant lurkers... banelings are pretty shitty comparably.

Agree The problem is that many people in these threads act as if they are better than Flash and Jaedong, have a six pack, earn 9 million $ a year, date Adriana Lima and are 6 time UFC Heavyweight Champions. It would be outright unfair if they even entered GSL, they would defeat anyone without losing a single unit..while playing with their feet. In other words, they are full of it. Back to the game, CoCa is looking good but seems like he made too many Corruptors now, he might lack the punch in his ground army Hey, how do you know so much about me? Stalking? You forgot the third leg length though. (25cm) Anyway, this is painful to watch, every zerg getting stomped. At least 1 zerg will advance in the last match~~

But I dont think July 2-0ing MVP is a direct conformation that July is on MVPs level or is better quite yet. Especially given the circumstances of the games. If July dominates the GSL 5 as hard as MVP did, then he deserves the recognition. After last nights games, I currently doubt July will dominate. His game against MC was horrible, bad micro, late expansions, bad encounters, having multiple obs reveal his every move. I wasn't trying to say that July is a better player at the moment (he probably isn't), but to call him a "lesser player" as if he was some sort of a nobody who should never have stood a chance is just silly. Mvp himself is just the next player in the line of SC2's one-season-bonjwas. People were elvating him to the deity status way too soon (just as they did with mc and nestea and even FD at times).

Fact is you have to be INSANELY good to win TvZ right now against really good Terrans. I don't understand this "Haypro made more mistakes" Bullshit, how many of Ganzi's medivacs die without doing any damage in both games? Problem is terran can siege up at every zerg expo and you can't engage it cost effectively, it's pretty frustrating when the only way you can kill their army is if it's unseiged and on creep, and how often do we see that happen? Also letting those hatches die isn't a mistake at all, he HAS to get those bases up, it's worth the risk of losing it at that point to see if you can hold the expansion. Whereas a PF with turrets is basically incapable of being destroyed, factor in auto-repair?? It's just ludicrous. Infestors are garbage and that's hopping the terran doesn't decide to get AN ghost, scan your army and immediately EMP every infestor you have, we saw it happen to Zenio. There is no recourse that zerg has to this. It makes the game frustrating to watch as an observer, there was no point in there where ganzi was in trouble even after losing his whole army NUMEROUS times. Don't shit on Haydar, he played that game well, and definitely is a GREAT player. I like how you snuck in something halfway on topic by mentioning haypro in your "Zerg is UP! Game is broken! QQ" nonsense. Of course Haypr0 is a great player, but I doubt if he'd be as sad as to rant about how zerg cannot beat terran. He just caught some bad breaks, as he unfortunately usually does in GSL for some reason. A few spine crawlers or a cancelled hatch may have went a long way..but that's all in hindsight.

After 5 GSLs I think there may be better chances elsewhere. Everyone says how the people here make excuses for IdrA whereas when it's HayPro it's his fault. Well IdrA HAS gotten further, MUCH further. After not qualifying/getting kicked out at RO64 and not making it when given a ticket to Code A, it's hard to avoid the elephant in the room. It's stressful no doubt to play these games, but that's no excuse for losing so many hatcheries and not cancelling. Also, while people say Ganzi's drops were in vain, he was sacrificing them to get HayPro's mutas and stuff out of position so he could snipe his hatcheries. 8 marines or whatever + medivac < losing hatchery + delaying income substantially. Every time Ganzi did this, it was like someone stabbing the same cut again and again making it deeper, while sacrificing the same thing. Losing those units doesn't hurt too much but the effect of denying bases compounds substantially. While I don't think it's really our business to tell players where they should and should not play, I have to sort of agree. Haypro might be pretty solid, but he's been struggling to compete in Korea. Conversely, he could really raise the overall level of play in something like the NASL. He's close to being Code A quality, and there aren't too many foreign players who can say that. Well let's look at Haypros time in Korea shall we? - flies in 3 days before GSL2 prelims and is incredibly sick - makes it to the final round - qualifies for GSL3 but loses to bitbybit's cheese in the Ro64. - Can't participate in GSL4 because he's not in Code A because of BBB - Gets invited to Code A for GSL5 and gets one of the strongest players in the tournament first round He's quite possibly the most unlucky player to go to korea. It's entirely possible that he's just really unlucky, but it's really hard to know. His Code A opponent was much better than most. It's impossible to know whether Haypro would have beaten a different opponent tonight, or would have beat someone other that BBB in season 3. But lets look at it this way. The resume you listed looks a lot like Artosis' list of accomplishments so far (though artosis qualified for season 1 instead of 3, and wasn't given a Code A seed). Framed that way, I'm not sure what to think.
