All 4 One Gaming is pleased to announce our first lan event. This event will take place on Sunday, March 27th at 11:00 AM PST in Fullerton CA. This event will be casted and streamed live for those of you that are unable to make it out!

PC Arena: 104 N Raymond Ave, Fullerton CA 92831

Format:
Double elimination. Winners bracket BO 3 until semi finals, semi finals and finals will be BO 5. Losers bracket BO 1 until Loser bracket semi finals which will be BO 3.
Registration:
Registration for this event is $20.00 at the door. This will include $15.00 towards the prize pool, $5.00 for the lan center, and 2 raffle tickets. If you sign up on this thread you will receive one additional raffle ticket.

In each BO 3 and BO 5 each player will be able to veto one map.
Prizes:
+ Show Spoiler + Money money money. The top 5 players will be paid out at the event. We will also be raffling off some hardware, and esports related clothing. As of 3/8/11 the prizepool is up to $600.00!

Sounds awesome! Good to see the money being used to support the event in a good fashion. Hope everyone who participates has a great time! These are some top players so it'll be a challenge

I went to tournament at this place before though this time it seems like it's being ran by some different people though the setup seems the same. that being said you pay like a 10-15 dollar entry fee 10 goes to prize pot 5 for your time using the computers or your time there. SO depending on turn up is the prize pool. Though this is not official or anything just telling you my experience from last time.

Do you know what resolution the computers on? It's really hard for me to get used to new computers but if they are a similar resolutions, i can bring my keyboard and mouse and it'd be fine

Of your $20.00 Entry fee $15.00 goes directly towards the prize pool. The extra raffle tickets that are purchased will also be contributing to the prize pool as well. The last $5.00 goes to the lan center for them allowing us to use their facility for the day.
When you are at the event you will quickly realize it is going to be organized a bit differently than the past events at this location to try to make things run on a little more timely manner.

Wow nice job setting up the event RuMCaKe. Looks very interesting. ONE has been one of the most successful sc2 NA teams, if not the most since they've been created. Is the majority of ONE gaming's players west coast?

Awesome. I was there when this LAN center did their last event and met one of the managers(?) of ONE. Linko played Bubbles in the finals, and both player ended up on ONE eventually it =P Seems they liked it enough to put on their own event there!
I'll be there for sure even though I'm not that great.
It would just be cool if the maps included some of the new GSL maps and take out steppes, DQ, ect.

As far as maps go, they may be adjusted, however if they are adjusted it will be at least 3 weeks before the event so everyone can have time to prepare.

Ah! Well, nice to talk to you again, good sir. You warned me that ONE was going to be making a splash landing in the SC2 scene and you were right.
And I'm not sure if you watched some of the recent GSL games on the new maps, but they were amazing. Seeing them in this tournament would be really cool.

I did watch the GSL games and am considering the map in the pool. Ill post a final word on that in the next week or two, one of the things I have to consider is it may turn people away since they can't practice them on ladder at the moment. Will see what happens in the next few weeks.

Yeah, while I agree that the GSL maps are fun and exciting, the fact is just not too many people actually play on them. I think keeping the Blizz map pool is best all around for this tournament. ( Of course eliminating a couple, but that is also what veto is for )
I can't wait for this! I hope I get my shot to avenge myself for aOne knocking me out in the 3rd round of the last one.

Sounds pretty cool. Very poor map pool imo. Blistering sands and Steppes of War are both very bad maps and arent in any major tourny.

you should check it out. There are some local sc2 players that play here pretty often, but it's mostly league of legends and wow players that mostly play here.

We have allowed laptops at our previous lans, so it should be fine unless rumcake says othewise.

You can bring your laptop as they are easy to move. The lan center has nice pc's to play on as well. The prize pool is nearing 600 bucks now according to sign ups.
Thanks to PC Arena in Fullerton for allowing this even to happen!

Depending on Traffic which shouldn't be to terrible on a sunday morning just getting out of LAX can take an hour though if your unlucky the freeways shouldn't be horrible driving time out of LAX would probably be about 1 hour to 2hours(I doubt) it's honestly only like 34 miles away so really not far at all just might get some shitty traffic. Though it will def be worth it. I am driving up from Victorville, Ca which is about 1.5 hours or so.

Bad news - I'm not going to be able to go due to automotive complications, plus spending about $50 total on food, fuel, and entry fee right now just isn't a good idea when my rent is overdue.
I'm sure at least some of you were looking forward to meeting the one and only McStupid, but fear not, I'm still aiming to go to the Whittier, CA tournament on 4/2/11, so we can try for that.

I am surprised there arent more viewers of this tournament. There are actually quite a few good players from the American scene at this tournament. Maybe its just not enough publicity. If I hadn't known about this tourny previously I would not have known there was a stream going on.
